The best restaurants serving British food in North Kesteven East Midlands

We visited for my mothers 85th birthday, a party of 11, and a wide range of tastes to be taken into account. We pre ordered and everything went to plan. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and visiting dogs are welcome. I would especially like to praise their options for vegan diners, they are willing to adapt dishes and offer other suggestions, the bruschetta starter was the best I have tasted. We were not rushed and had the time to talk after enjoying the meal, truth be told, we were all a bit too full to move. Would thoroughly recommend, have previously been for Sunday lunch, and that didn't disappoint either. Thank you QH, 5 🌟 xx

We went for Saturday lunch. When we arrived we was told it was a 30-45 minute wait for food the pub was empty. But a few tables sat outside with kids. We ordered something easy. Ham egg and chip. After waiting the time they said our food arrived. The chips was cold and the egg looked like it had been sat for 10 minutes. They had an inflatable assault course for kids in the garden which is a great attraction for people with kids. But I wouldn’t advise going for a meal !! 🤮

Visited for lunch today. Fabulous meal and great service. Obviously a popular place as there seemed to be a lot of regulars eating there. Had Gammon, then Kit Kat Cheesecake and a cup of tea. £8.50. Fabulous value and will definitely visit again.

We’ve eaten here a few times now, mainly with our two young granddaughters. The service has always been extremely friendly and the food lovely. Good varied menu. They always went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, especially towards the girls. Very highly recommended, we shall definitely return

I popped in with my dog and we were made very welcome. Lovely atmosphere with local people chatting and included me, made me feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and I had a hot chocolate and I really enjoyed scrambled egg on toast. I was so looking forward to popping in again on my next visit to Sleaford but I was very sad to read a newspaper article saying it has closed for good. So sad after 101 years in the town that this had to close.

Fabulous little cafe on the A17. What a perfect find - delicious food, all very reasonably priced, and served with a smile. We bought a slice of cake each to enjoy later and these were also very tasty and beautifully light. Cash only - no cards. Plenty of parking outside.

Absolutely first class. Food, atmosphere and service - all fantastic. Can thoroughly recommend and will return for sure!

Attended here whilst on holiday..food was cooked freshly and the owners were very friendly. Very good prices and very clean inside

This is my second visit to Henderson’s Cocoa House and it is lovely. I went for a chocolate milkshake this time but would also recommend the hot chocolates which are much better than the competitors’! Lovely handmade chocolates too - Whats not to like?

lovely community pub we stopped by on our way to Norfolk. Delicious food and friendly staff, dogs welcome. Would absolutely recommend.

if you have read my reviews before you will know we are from Grimsby, where the best fish and chips come from. it is always good to find fish and chips that meat the standards we are used to . had to go to Lincoln on business last week and decided to have some fish. this shop produces great fish and very good chips , the prices are resonable and the staf helpfull. would definatly go again.

Yet another visit to this fantastic pub. The lunchtime baguettes are amazing and great value for money. The only issue I have is with the guy complaining about his steak as the George has not had steak on the menu for quite some time. My advice is to ignore that review and try the pub for yourself, it's brilliant.

Nice choice of wines stopped off for a drink and will definitely be back
