Wonderful little find. Absolutely delicious cakes and then returned next day for breakfast (also amazing) and more cakes. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and personally loved the music play list. A special little place that is definitely worth a visit (maybe more than one!)

You know it's good, when the place is so busy. I usually treat myself to an "Our House" with Loaded Fries, just because....and why not. The order process is super easy online, with a good selection of collection times to suit my needs. I have on occasion ordered just walking by and the staff are great and fit you in between the online riders they are preparing. Great, food, staff, location and a credit to our Market Town....

Dariela Cakes is a traditional Romanian style cake and coffee shop, and it reminds me of the Czech and East European style, which I liked from my travels and living abroad.   Dariela's is more like an old traditional cake shop.  On our visit, we had a Cappuccino and chocolate cake for Mumsy, (pictured) and a black Americano and caramel cake for me. The size of the cake portions really are that big! I also liked how strong tasting the coffee was. It's not bland and watery, as I've tasted in other cafes. With 5 cafes in the Quadrant, and despite Dariela being the cheapest, with cake portions twice the size for less than you pay or see in other nationally branded and established coffee shops, it may struggle to survive. However, this cake and coffee shop offers something different to the rest; a taste of real East European tradition. It may not be to everyone's taste but and I recommend you give it a try. I wish Dariela's every success.

Amazing food! Staff lovely and polite. Defiantly going back! The starters were lovely nachos and buffalo bites. We had the stone cooked steak and it was the best steak I have EVER had. Well done

We have been irregular, regulars since we moved into the area 7 years ago. But today we ate lunch. Such a lovely pub! Great staff and always a pleasant atmosphere. Sport on TV, but don't let it put you off. Roaring fire in winter, outside seating in summer. Good ales, ice cold rosè wine and excellent Dirty Burgers! Definitely recommend.

A fantastic meal again after returning for a special occasion. Very accommodating with any tweaks required for dietary requirements etc. Thanks so much for a lovely evening.

An excellent restaurant but so much more as well! The Black Horse used to be my father’s favourite restaurant to take my mum to. They spent many a year happily visiting on a regular basis and always offered rave reviews. My dad sadly passed away in feb 2023 and my mum was anxious about returning, not sure if her grief would be too much. We visited for the fourth time today, since my dad’s passing, and the staff are almost like family towards her. So caring, friendly and sensitive. It is such a pleasure to see her relax and have a window of normality away from her grief. The food is always lovely, but the hosting, service and general loveliness of the staff mean so much to us as a family. Thank you so much, every single one of you. We will of course be back.

Lovely, tidy spot with decent parking next to the rail bridge. Being so close to Christmas, staff was short and the food took a bit of time as I was warned when I ordered. With the wait.

Wow, this is a fantastic country pub. The food delicious, roasts perfect for all in my group of 20 and service very good, friendly and helpful. We have been 3 times recently for our Xmas meal which was great. Couldn't be better we will be back.

Excellent food, really good choice, staff very welcoming, value for money. We booked late, staying in the area and they very kindly fitted us in
