The best restaurants serving British food in Bexley London

I have eaten here many times and I have to say that was the best meal I have ever had here. It was hot, edible and showed there is someone who can cook in this place. Well done Josephine long may you stay as chef, then I will come back.

Siete de nosotros visitamos el 15 de diciembre para celebrar mi cumpleaños. Mi padre de 90 años que no es muy móvil estaba con nosotros y el personal era muy paciente y comprensivo con él. La comida era muy buena y el autoservicio era fresco y bien surtido. Probablemente sería mejor aconsejado reservar ya que estaba muy ocupado! ¡Buena señal!

Came to get a take away from here got home with the food wouldn’t be coming back due to the liquor tasted of flour the colour was white where it is meant to be green colour pies tasted like they was dipped in flour not very good experience and great quality of food.

I dined here whilst staying at the Holiday Inn in Orpington on business The restaurant is located in the hotel and doubles as a bar . You order at the bar and identify where you are seated for service There was plenty of space to seat and my two courses where very tasty and delicious I ordered chicken liver pate and brioche toast with an accompaniment of onion chutney- it was delicious! My main of black and blue burger was also delicious as the blue cheese really lifted the taste An excellent example of how bar food should be delivered, an extremely pleasant surprise

I booked heathview restaurant as part of my hubby birthday celebrations, from my email booking enquiry to end of yesterday evening, the service from all the staff exceptional, a credit to Crayford, we were seated at table overlooking finish line, great view, 3 course meal very good with plenty choices to choose on each course, staff come round to take your bets to, we had an enjoyable evening and thank you to Joseph our waiter , and again to all the staff

Had to essentially ask to be served despite it not being busy at all….asked if I could have crusty bread was available, was told it was, but was just regular bread…and whilst I went “off menu”, what was basically a “brunch grill” anywhere else at most cafes, was charged at nearly £15 with the 2 slices and a couple of cans of soda……with a full charge for chips, but receiving just a handful…..and clearly the term “very well done bacon” was not a concept the server was used to…..very disappointed…won’t be back.

When this Fish & Chip shop reopened about 2 years ago under new management, freshly revamped & called Hooked it all looked very promising ! The shop was clean & inviting & the cod & chips here were nice, not wonderful but miles better than the old Fish & Chip shop Sea Lion which was awful. Now I'm sorry to say it has deteriorated badly. I went in tonight just for beef & onion pie & chips and the place is dirty looking counters and the meat on the donar kebab spike looked disgusting like it had been there all week ! The pie was ok but you can't really ruin that as it's just heated in its pack, however the chips were horrible greasy and overcooked !! What has gone on here ! Such a shame as it's my local but I won't come here again ! Broadway Fish & Chip ShopBexleyheath by far & away best fish & chip shop in area, lovely tasting cod & chips, further for me but well worth it !

Came here for a takeaway after hearing the place was under new management, so wanted to give it a try. The fish and chips was really nice, the batter was nice and thin and tasted relatively healthy. I would like to come back

I loved the food they gave us the waitress was so nice we got our food in 2 seconds it was so fast I reccomend.

Not bad,not the best but definitely not the worst.

We arrived to reception, bearing in mind we’ve never had breakfast there before, our table was booked for 9.30 we were there at 9.15, stood at the bar people in front of us being served 2 people behind the bar…. I’m assuming the sarcastic man was the manager and eventually asked us had we been served, we’d explained we hadn’t done this before “he’s reply was pay for breakfast up front (didn’t have problem with that) “what drinks do you want” my friend doesn’t drink tea or coffee wasn’t sure on cold beverages etc. We asked to see a breakfast menu and he gave us a menu and drinks menu, not at all helpful in my eyes!! Couple then come in after us and the man starting serving them, my friend just looked up and he started getting rude and in no uncertain terms took an instant dislike shouting verbal abuse and told us to go elsewhere. That is the last time I will ever go to that toby carvery, me and my friend decided it would be nice to have a catch up and a nice breakfast but no avail our morning was a true downer!!

Vine aquí con amigos un viernes por la noche para la discoteca tardía. La noche fue genial, todo el mundo lo estaba pasando bien y la música era buena. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita

The staff were outstandingly friendly to our group and I noticed to other regular customers. Nothing was to much and our group was very impressed especially Sue. Thank you Sue for making us feel valued. We order a few different meals all were very well priced but not everything was available. The pizza was very good and we enjoyed the different burgers. Thank you we will definitely be coming back
