Always a great place to go! Get away from the usual soulless pubs around the area charging you £8 a pint and get to this proper old school boozer with good beers and great service.

James really made up the night! Polite & attentive. Food was a little slow because it was busy but James (manager) made sure it was hot & tasty.

Mi primera vez probando pastel, puré y licor y fue muy sabroso y bien presentado. Los precios son decentes y el personal es muy amable. Mi único problema era lo incómodo que es el asiento allí. Los asientos son de madera y muy duros, y el banco en sí hizo que mi espalda cesara, lo que también me dio puntos de sutura y calambres en mi cuerpo. Me alegré de levantarme y volver a moverme. Salvo esto, mi experiencia fue genial! Gracias chicos.

Came here for lunch and it was nice and warm on a cold day. The decor was nice and it had a good atmosphere. I felt that the price for sandwiches was fine and they were tasty too. Really enjoyed it. It wasn't too busy and service was good.

I attended my son and daughter in laws wedding reception on the 2nd January and I have to say what a lovely old pub. Staff were amazing and at times our bar server was having a great sing along with the music, looking forward to visiting for a pint and bite to eat in the future.
