Lovely staff, good beer, not expensive

Came to celebrate my daughters 30th birthday. A group of 12 & we had to send 5 main meals back, 4 meals stone cold, 1 steak medium rare not cooked to liking. Manager quite dismissive & rude. Wont recommend or return.

The food and service is outstanding! Absolutely worth a visit!

Visited during the week, carvery was fantastic so lovely and fresh! Was greeted and served by Sophie and Kayleigh who were so polite and friendly, will definitely be returning.

Went today for lunch, my friend and I have not been for a long time but we weren’t disappointed. We had to queue but within five minutes we had a table. Food was very good, we couldn’t fault it, it was hot and exactly what we’d ordered. Nice to walk through the gift shop on the way out which is interesting and well stocked. I marked it down a star as the car park is full of potholes and hasn’t changed since last time I went.

Popped in with daughter and grandkids hoping to get a table. Easy to order at the bar, food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Staff were freindly and helpful. Children enjoyed playing in the wacky warehouse. Food nice and well presented. Kids enjoyed the Candy Mania desserts. Thank you

Four of us went to the crofters for the steak and wine deal. The cocktails we had were amazing, strawberry daiquiris were a delight. We were really well looked after by all the staff, particularly the wonderful waitress Cerise. Unfortunately there was a slight hiccup with our food but this was quickly corrected and we all left really pleased with our evening. The service really did make it!

We called in for a late lunch both of us had steak chips peppercorn sauce was really good couldn’t fault anything great service and friendly staff would recommend will be back soon

Found out this local pub was doing breakfasts at weekends so thought we’d give it a try. Wow! Was not disappointed, great value for money and fantastic food. Being able to choose the exact items on our breakfasts was a real positive and resulted in totally empty plates and full bellies! Will definitely be going back on a regular basis. Lovely treat for the weekends.

First visit since moving to area. Absolutely excellent service especially Ben, took time to chat and noticed it was our first time there and made us feel very welcome. Food was excellent , bloody delicious in fact. Will definitely be a regular in here and 100% recommend to friends and bring them and family there.

I've been going to Chaes for years and never a complaint but just lately the chips are terrible . Thin with no substance,that thin they are hard,inedible.Wont be going back until it improves.

Had a bit of time to kill so popped in for a brew and a cake. Not a bad selection but the chocolate cake was a little dry and needed some cream. However they only do clotted cream not pouring cream. The brew was nice, once I'd exchanged the cup with lipstick on. Mistakes happen and its how they deal with them that's important. Not a bad place to relax.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday, and will definitely be going back. The garlic bread was mouthwatering!

Great to drop in here for a morning brew. Ok I have in and had ice cream instead - v tasty. Clearly they were lent geared up for this many people on a Thursday am - long queue formed and drinks took a while. Still a most welcome break and good to have outside seats for nice weather.
