The best restaurants serving British food in Eccleston and Mawdesley Chorley North West

Nice farm shop with lots of choice but was disappointed to see quite a few imported out of season goods, especially as the website champions local produce with zero miles. Berries from Africa definitely don't fit this and even apples from France. Maybe it's just me but I shop in farm shops to support local farms, and limit my carbon footprint. What was local looked good and I was happy to purchase some veg and UK made pasta.

A good, quirky place to meet up. Coffee sacks, comfy chairs, the noise and smell of freshly roasted and ground coffee. Good value drinks and cakes plus plenty of coffees to choose from

Rank, miserable barmaid , (young blonde , terrible coffee and the place smells filthy, used to be nice. Now it's just filthy with nothing pleasant
