After years of poor food, poor service, and poor ambiance, the new Landlords have got it right. Best Sunday roast we’ve had anywhere in a long time. Onwards and upwards. Lovely to have a decent local again

Slightly unusual review because it wasn’t me who visited! My mum and her husband visited for lunch this week to celebrate their anniversary and I contacted the restaurant to organise to pay the bill for them. It was tricky because they hadn’t actually booked a table. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was so helpful, he identified them and went above and beyond to make sure I was able to pay for their meal and couldn’t have been more accommodating. My mum said their meal was delicious and also commented that they’d had lovely service and a very nice chat with the owner which really personalised their experience. Great customer service goes a very long way and this was definitely worth writing a review about!

Enjoyed a lovely meal with a family of five, we all had something different from the menu and really enjoyed everything. The super friendly staff and the pleasent surroundings along with the delicious food made it a memorable experience. Have visited Bell & Bottle on many other occasions and will definitely be returning.

Excellent sandwiches I had a bacon and sausage and my wife had a bacon one, both were excellent and a great latte as well

on my visit to Dobbies Preston Lancashire we decided to have a brew and something to eat after shopping however the restaurant was disgusting tables piled with dirty plates cups etc. when i asked the young assistant on the till she gave me attitude and said she was on her own and the rest of the staff were on their breaks. why would staff be on breaks at busy times only leaving one on. she walked past the tables and ignored all the dirty pots disgusting. wont be visiting again food hygiene right out the window
