The best restaurants serving British food in Low Furness South Lakeland North West

I have just eaten the best Cajun chicken burger in my life.....wow that was amazing, succulent, spicy, delicious and very well presented. Staff really friendly, service really quick, good pint of Corby Blonde....add to that the great views over Matterdale Common....winner winner chicken dinner.

We visited on 14th December and the food was delicious. I had the roast turkey dinner and my wife had fillet steak. Both meals were excellent. Service was great too.

Very good mother's Day lunch. We were a large group. All the food came out together and was delicious. Desserts too were traditional and lovely. Service was polite, and well organised. Only thing I would have preferred is a local beer.

Lovely fire. Lovely staff. Clean toilets. Best cheese on toast in the World! This is a great stop on the Bay Cycleway. 100% recommend.
