The best restaurants serving British food in Stockport North West

Nice bar opposite the holiday inn, use it sometimes when staying over in Stockport when working at our head office. Well worth a visit

Rude and impatient staff. Glasses and bottles left on tables downstairs. Empty upstairs. Will not return.

We went in just planning to get a warm drink but we stayed for lunch. Well laid out for a small coffee shop, no problem getting our wheelchair user in and seated. The menu had a good range with something for everyone. Added bonus they serve all day breakfast! All food is cooked to order so it’s definitely fresh and hot. The coffee shop was busy but we didn’t have to wait long. Food was lovely and well presented. If you’re nearby and want something warm and tasty as well as good value then it’s worth a visit.

Member of staff named Julie was extremely rude and I overheard her being overly aggressive towards her colleagues. She was being hostile to customers and then continued being rude to other members of staff.

I thought false advertising was illegal in this country, but I must be mistaken because this butty shop advertises that ALL their sandwiches are £1, yet when you pay, you are charged between £1.50 and £2.50. The sandwich I had tasted ok. Nothing special though, and it was very small. I will not be going there a second time. Dishonest and tight-fisted tactics do not lead to loyal, repeat customers. Maybe that's why the other food premises nextto thisone had people queuing out of the door, while this place was empty except for me.
