The best restaurants serving British food in Banbury Grimsbury and Castle Cherwell South East

Enjoyed some tasty food from here. Customised to tastes. Lots of options made fresh. Recommend the samosas. Sometimes busy, but worth the wait.

We ordered four meals online for delivery, A fish and sausage lunchbox with curry sauce, A fish and fishcake lunchbox with mushy peas, a double cheese burger with salad and burger sauce in with chips, and 12 x Chicken Nuggets and chips. The Delivery came in good time the bag had the correct name on it and was sealed, we opened the bag, it had 4 meals inside there was no burger meal inside and one of the meals had baked beans in instead of curry sauce, my daughter has a life threatening allergy to baked beans and my son ordered a burger as he doesn't like fish. We called Grimsby fish bar to get it rectified, they said it is too busy and there was nothing that they could do. WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Great choice of breakfast menu. Lovely greeting on arrival. Had two beautiful breakfast dishes, served looking great and tasting even better! Good price too.

Popped in for some lunch while in Banbury, having never visited before. The staff were lovely and chatty and the baguettes had just finished cooking as we arrived! Good selection of fillings, all very tasty and well priced! Would 10/10 recommend, and I will definitely be visiting again.

The most amazing food! Great atmosphere! Friendly folks! We had the 12 Oz Ribeye and the Lamb Shank. Best meal ever. We highly recommend this restaurant. Best steak I’ve had in over six years since I’ve been coming on holiday to the UK from the US. Will definitely be back!

Nice and tidy pub with really friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. Good outside area with plenty of space. Private car park. Would definitely recommend!

Great venue was here for a 50th birthday. Lovely friendly staff. Great location lots of space, various setting options, room for a DJ. Late licence. Lots of AF options too.

Having enjoyed visiting the previous site in town several times, my wife and I were recently delighted to find the new larger premises while looking for a bite to eat before an evening at the Arts Centre. The menu is still wide-ranging and my wife and I enjoyed our flatbread and burrito respectively. The waiting time for the food was fine and somehow they've managed to keep the intimate atmosphere despite the larger room. The staff were welcoming and it was good to see Kyle still there looking after the customers with his usual food humour! We'll be back.....probably tonight actually!

The staff are wonderful, I recommend visiting the once a month open mic night.
