The best restaurants serving British food in Claygate Elmbridge South East

No service. On a walk this evening with my daughter and the dog and decided to pop in for a swift pint. No one serving at the bar and a elderly lady was already waiting to be served. After 2 minutes a barman came along and said ‘I’ll serve you in 5 minutes or so. I’m busy at the other end’ and he walked off. Well, we walked off too and gave it a miss. No way to run a pub. Quite ridiculous.

Good old fashioned local pub offering a reasonably priced menu suitable for everyone. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff.
