Not a good welcome when ordering food. First impressions count. Fortunately made up for by serving staff who were much more pleasant.

The the generous helping of scallops was accompanied by nicely cooked vegetables. The service was prompt and friendly. we enjoyed our visit and we will go back.

Returning this Easter for a 3 day break.Went last year,fantastic location,quiet a damn good breakfast,and the rooms were excellent.

Great place to eat. Good food, good service

We stayed as a family of 4 with two young children (7&3) on the 19th of December for the night. The pub/restaurant itself was decorated beautifully for Christmas so initial impressions were good. The room itself was ok, could do with a bit of modernising in general but was clean and comfortable enough. We ate in the restaurant and the food was nice, enjoyed the meal. What made this stay good though was the staff in general especially Bunny who checked us in and was there throughout our stay. She was really sweet with our two girls, they had an elf on the shelf there and she went out of her way to keep our girls entertained in the evening and the morning for breakfast, even giving them a Christmas card when leaving which was lovely. We were also served by Nicole in the restaurant for dinner who was also very sweet with our girls so in general the staff made our stay really special, thank you and we would visit again.

Great menu choices, love the haggis

We had a lovely family lunch on New Year’s Day. Welcoming staff, friendly, cosy atmosphere and good pub food with generous portions. It was what we hoped for. We’ll definitely visit again.

Had a 3 course Christmas meal food was amazing 1st course goats cheese warm salad with walnuts and roasted beetroot 2nd course beef on mash potato with side vegetables (beef was so tender it just fell apart) 3rd course Christmas pud with custard and my husband had orange cheesecake. Food was so well presented and the new chef is top class also the staff were efficient and so friendly well done Vicki and Ash this is certainly worth a visit either for lunch dinner or a Sunday roast so get yourself along you won't be disappointed.

Además de un magnífico helado italiano - helado Los domingos tienen elección de asados, y a menudo el lunes también hay un asado en el tablero de especiales.

The food was great and the service awesome, there was nothing bad to say, in the opposite everything went over the standard. I would greatly recommend this place. Well done.

My daughter booked this Premir inn as it is very close to Peppa Pig world at Paultons Park for a family weekend away with my 4 year old grandson. We were given our room, the beds were rock hard as were the pillows and there was mould on the bathroom ceiling however on raising this we were told as it was the Easter Bank Holiday they were fully booked. Later that evening the lights in our room went out and would not come back on. We spoke to reception who duly attended and checked the fuse box in our room. This did not work however when they went to the main fuse box they got the lights back on however on my grandson flicked on the bathroom light, bright orange sparks came out the fuse box and light switch. They offered to move us to another room however could not agree which one. The male on reception became very verbally abusive towards us and his young colleague, leaving her in tears, swearing in front of ourselves and other guests. When this was finally resolved my grandson was distraught and I was left to move all our luggage with no offer of assistance. To top it all Premier Inn, despite offering a refund had the gall to take the cost of the room out of my bank over a week later and have not offered any sort of apology or compensation
