If you are on here searching for a great place to have breakfast or brunch then, honestly, get in Joe's and get eating. It's an honest, old school cafe. A proper cafe cup of tea and fry up. No frills, just mouth watering proper sausage, egg, beans, toast, bacon, black pudding and hash browns..... Hungry yet? Just do it! Also, lovely lady that runs it (embarrassingly I don't know her name after numerous visits) who also makes lovely coffee to take away. Thanks.

If you're in Chertsey and want pub that is reasonably priced (cheaper than anywhere else there), this is the place. I've popped in for the last 3 nights (working in the area). I found it full of locals, everyone knew each other and very friendly.

The Crown Hotel in Chertsey is a real jewel in Surrey’s crown—if you’re after comfort, style, and service that would make a First Class passenger smile, you’re in for a treat. From the moment I checked in, the staff were as warm and welcoming as a cup of tea on a long-haul flight (or a short-haul delay). Friendly, attentive, and utterly professional—they clearly know how to make every guest feel like royalty. My room was more than big enough to stretch out in—extra king-size bed with crisp white bedding that rivaled the smoothness of a freshly ironed uniform. A sofa, coffee table, and desk provided plenty of lounging or working options, though with a Nespresso machine and a Bluetooth speaker to hand, working was low on the agenda. The en-suite shower? A dream. Spacious, spotless, and stocked with toiletries and fluffy white towels—it’s the perfect place to wash away the day. A lift to the first floor was a thoughtful touch, too, saving me from dragging my cabin bags up the stairs. And here’s the best part: all this luxury and comfort for just £90 a night. Frankly, that’s a bargain that feels almost too good to be true. If you’re flying into Chertsey and need a soft landing, the Crown Hotel is well worth a visit. Five stars—and not a single turbulence in sight!
