The best restaurants serving British food in Windsor and Maidenhead South East

This is a lovely pub my friend and I go to once a month. The best thing about going their and the main reason we go back is Camila. She is a wonderful host. Despite being busy, she takes time to talk to us, is very friendly and has a lovely customer service manner. Otherwise the food and drink is always very good. Highly recommended, especially in the summer where you can eat in nice outdoor surroundings.

An exercise in dining on old reputation. A pantomime that feels repeatedly repeated. Not the class or sophistication a 3* should have. Disappointed

One of the most amazing breakfasts I've ever had. Service was spot on and a perfect setting with a beautifully decorated restaurant. Revisited again: Amaila was amazing and looked after us so well. So caring and chatting so well with the kids. She was great! Back again: Jan 2024 Adelle served us this time and as usual it was an amazing experience all round. Food was out of this world and service was on point.

Really enjoyed the food from here. Had a takeaway and the food was very tasty. We got a mixed grill and a chicken tikka masala and it was spot on. We’ll be back soon!

Lovely setting, great service and delicious food. We were a party of 8 and we all enjoyed both food and wine. However if you are thinking that the Shepherds pie must be amazing at the price then don’t order it if you’re hungry!

Really happy we found this cosy pub when visiting the area. The food was tasty, including some delicious vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they happily accommodated a dog-friendly table for us.

Love going to this pub. The food and service are excellent. Will continue to use the Duke of Edinburgh for meals out.

Lovely pub, great service and generally OK food. Some 5 star dishes around the table, but my pork roast was dry and tough.

Had festive menu, Prawn cocktail was very basic and bland. Festive turkey was OK. Gingerbread sundae was nice. Out of 10 probably give 6. Times are hard. Waitress always friendly. Salad cart was fresh. See you again.
