Great pub with a lovely atmosphere great selection of ales and ciders all great and taste great! Amazing staff who are so lovely and get to know you well! Amazing quizevery Sunday hosted by Claire and Annie!!

Greeted immediately by several friendly staff. Seated and looked after. Daisy was lovely when we were a little indecisive. The food was fresh hot and comforting. Thank you. A lovely brunch with my lovely friend 🥰

We have had a 60th and now a 30th birthday party here,both times were amazing. Lovely friendly place ,perfect for a party , lovely buffet nothing negative to say,highly recommend

We decided to go here on a Saturday lunch time. After ordering our drinks the bar staff proceeded to tell us that they wouldn't be serving food until 2PM which was far too late for us. Seemed like a rip off, just wanted our money for the drinks. The manager was also sat there counting his money, this could have been done on a Monday afternoon when there aren't any customers. Won't be returning.

Had a meatball pizza from the new Hunger fix wow wow wow would highly recommend. Unable to show a pic of it it was gone in minutes.

Great pub for a few drinks and food with some friends. Only swung by for a pint but ended up staying for the night. Is my new local!

Freezing inside , no heat on. Overpriced 4 hot chocolate in 1 teapot. ? With mince pies x3. £28. Very pricey. And hot choc was like warm too

Traveled quite away after telling my wife about the Breakfasts. Hope to the highest and says open till 15.00 Arrived and was padlocked .

Waited over 30 minutes and watched as Deliveroo & Just Eat came and went time after time until I finally asked about my order of 2 x regular fish n chips, told them my number only to be told by the young girl wrapping up more food for delivery that they didn’t have a order number 182 to which I said yes you do & showed her my receipt only to get the filthiest look. They then found my order and made it up but the customer service in this country is now becoming rubbish as I wasn’t even asked if they could do anything for me for making me wait so long (all the time my wife & dog were standing outside in the freezing cold).

Very much a 'Spoons' - but food comes out quickly, staff are friendly - previously had to send back cottage pie because it was so full of gristle however the veggie breakfasts are delicious - great prices and generous portions

If your hungry then this is the place to go with a great selection of food and drink. with a car park just across the road ...

This is not a noticeably good pub for food. On the lower side of ordinary. there are other places to eat in bigbury, not least the generally very good Oyster Shack. people who view this on the Plymouth listing should not be put off the wholly acceptable Royal oak pub at Hooe on the Plymstock Turnchapel side of Plymouth or the sometimes too busy and slapdash but largely OK Royal oak at Meavy.
