The best restaurants serving British food in Shaw and Nine Elms Swindon South West

Friendly staff and good coffee, only sorry we didn't get the chance to try the food on this occasion - maybe next time

We visited on a Sunday, early evening following making a booking. We were seated straight away and were given the welcome option of a booth. Our server was very polite and attentive. Our food arrived promptly and was lovely. I will say the burger was a little dry but still good. We also have the burnt ends and beans side which I would definitely recommend. We will be back to try more of the menu….

Lovely pub staff nice and friendly. Staff are always nice and friendly, is always busy when we go. Have had Christmas dinner here for the past 4 years.

My family and I just had a lovely lunch at the village inn! The food is amazing , i had the veggie dog and the pretzel bun is to die for! The lady that served us was very friendly and welcoming - thank you!!

Lots of items had ran out and we were not told when we ordered our food, when we pointed out that food was missing we were only offered extra beans! The pub was cold, the food was tepid, no one came to check on our food, the whole experience was very disappointing, this used to be our local pub and will definately not be returning . The whole pub looks very run down and unkempt, such a shame after all the money that was spent on the renovation years ago.
