The best restaurants serving British food in Dawlish Central and North East Teignbridge South West

So popped in here and was going to opt for a traditional breakfast but instead went for a cheese and ham omelette and it was lovely nice and fluffy and full of flavour, will definitely be paying another visit...

Been I here before when visiting Devon a bit expensive but good stuff like pastry cakes, ice cream and a good gift shop too

We were stopping at Cofton so we decided to try the carvery. After a decent walk along the coast we arrived at 2.45 and were shown to our seats by a pleasant young man. Food looked good so we chose our meats and veg and took our seats. Sadly when we got to our beef it was inedible and when asked by the young man who was on patrol if all was well we said no and explained the beef could not be eaten. He wondered off and never came back. Customer service? Would not bother again and its cheaper down the road at the Mount Pleasant.

Lovely café off the main shopping area. Delicious bacon bap and a drink. Very clean café. Warm welcome from the couple that own or run it. Used to go there about 25yrs ago when i worked in Dawlish, thought I'd try it again today and was impressed. Will def be going back again next time I'm over that way. Prices are excellent. Def 5 stars ✨ from me!! Give it a go too.

lovely place, food and staff, quite small but we didn't have to queue, would happily recommend to anyone, not open all day

I enjoyed my time here and the owners were very inclusive and gave me free tea and cakes and discount on my purchased items as I was here with my school and would happily return here definitely a brilliant experiance for work or a day out with your family

Amazing home cooked food, Worthing wait for, Brilliant service from John. Reasonably priced too, Visited twice during our stay in Dawlish. Will come back again next year 👍😁

Always dine here when visiting my mum. As always lovely bar staff very welcoming. Food was amazing, catered for my gluten free diet. Very reasonably priced. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend eating here. Chef very accommodating came and reassured me for my ceiloc diet. Thank you it means a lot .

Great relaxing atmosphere & somewhere for the kids to play.

We have been coming to the Welcome site for 30+ and have never tried welcome bite and I can tell you now we wont use it again..2 Pizzas one double peperoni { double 8 small slices of peperoni} cheese was so greasy it couldn't be eaten , 2 chicken burgers and a child's fish finger meal + one portion of chips came to just over £45 . it took ages to prepare so was cold by the time be got back to the caravan. the staff never spoke, first and last time we will use this.

Great tasting coffee and real grown up Hot Chocolate. Delicious!! Menu looked inviting and will definitely try in the future. Staff friendly and welcoming! Lots of locals.....good sign to me!
