great first impression. very friendly staff. A lovely table by the open fire. great menu, lots of choice. the meals were beautiful and home cooked. perfect place for lunch.

Mid-week, mid-November lunch. Restaurant was quiet but welcoming. Food was truly excellent. Fish perfectly cooked. Vegetables crunchy and very tasty. Delicious sauce. As good as I have eaten anywhere. Quite exceptional, especially considering the location on Exmoor.

Good place for a drinks with friends !

We go to the Towers frequently for a lunch stop. We find the lattes very weak,so today we asked for a extra shot,which made a great difference,but the downside was,we were charged an extra £1.40 per cup.
