We had a Boxing Day Hot Buffet, fabulous choice, meat fish and vegetarian. Cooked beautifully hot, fresh and delicious. Good selection of desserts…included in the price! Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Went with family, my in-laws and will definitely visit again with friends. My question would be is this a one off just the season?

A lovely little pub & restaurant. The staff went over and above to make us feel welcome (including keeping the fire burning). Our meals were cooked after ordering so everything was piping hot. Have no hesitation in recommending.

The usual Boathouse but more hygienic a good experience

Stumbled upon this likeable pub on our way down off the moor on a Saturday afternoon. Ample parking, an easy large stretch of grass down to the river Teign, several outside bench tables, a couple of families with dogs and young children. Inside, two large rectangular tables already laid for communal suppers. A scattering of afternoon drinkers and an affable, hospitable barman. Well kept beers. An enjoyable hour long break. Recommended.

FANTASIC DATE NIGHT. Myself and my partner was in the area visiting family and we was recommended to try the Mount Pleasant. So We did and WOW 👌. On arrival we were instantly made to feel so welcome and relaxed. The staff were amazing and friendly. We both had food which was absolutely gorgeous, we both ordered a burger and can i just say so juicy and flavoursome. 🤤 the chips were cooked to perfection. To top off the meal we both had a Hot chocolate woth fresh cream & marshmallows. That truly hit the nail on the head🥰 Excellent service all round, what a great evening. Compliments to the chef, bar staff & management.👏 We will definitely be back and will highly recommend to friends & family

We were let down by another venue (even though we had booked) and the lady that I spoke to here did everything she could to get us booked in on a busy New Year’s Day. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, polite, efficient and all had smiles on their faces. The food matched the service, good quality carveries, burgers and everything else that was had by our party. Couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely be coming back again. Teignmouth has more than its fair share of boozers, really good to see when many pubs are closing down. This is a no-nonsense pub, right on the harbourside (and I mean RIGHT on the harbourside!). Bet it's lovely to sit outside on a sunny day. We were there on a rainy February night, and there was a band just warming up ready to play. Friendly bar staff. Cheap drinks.

Came in here yesterday for drinks for my birthday... Decent little place.. Decent larger... And friendly staff... Very Good...

Popped in for a drink and Wow! This pub has been very tastefully modernised, stylish but subtle from every aspect. Too much to explain, go se for yourself. There is also a games room and garden. Drinks were reasonably priced.
