We ordered our breakfast and before I even finished my sentence the young lady told me the price! we sat down and waited for our breakfast which came but my wife used the brown sauce not realising it was mixed with what we think was vinegar but can’t be sure but anyway it spoilt her breakfast. I had mine and it was just a waste of £14 for both as the sausage was horrible tasting and the bacon was just fat and everything wasnt hot which was annoying. The only thing that was nice was the tea but the young lady worker came over and said have I finished with my tea when i was still holding the cup!!!! I just said yes and we left. There was only 2 other people in there so I haven’t a clue why she tried to clear our table. Not only do they need to sort there staff and food they also need to keep the entrance door shut as theres a bus stop right outside and all you can smell is the bus fumes whilst its out side the shop. Will not be going there again

Lovely breakfast... Came here to meet friends who live nearby. Great little place, food was fresh, well cooked, reasonable prices and service with a smile. We will be using this place again I'm sure.. No parking on site but a cheap carpark very close or use Asda free for 3 hours Right in the main parade this is a very clean and a Very nice place to eat, they also have a large grill selection... New year family get together. I been using the pub for a good year now. Started as popping in for a beer to see an old friend. Then to now bringing my family for a new years get together. The place never disappoints. The food is fantastic for the price and the service is good too. You can see the difference coming in to January as there was only 2 members of staff on. But they looked after us and made sure everything was great. Keep up the good work

Just been for a meal and pudding here, friendly staff, friendly locals, fab chef. The food was fantastic, and Ty himself served us and clearly loves his work and values your opinion. We had the steak and ale pie, the curried mutton burger and the white chocolate, lime and coconut cheesecake. Cooked to perfection with lots of flavour and the pie stuffed full of steak. Good food, good people, good prices. Thoroughly recommend and will be returning.

A pub with great heritage. Lots of beautiful original features. Unfortunately the beer, for which the pub was renowned, was not decent at all, resembling the mediocre end of homebrew. Very disappointed, after being given nonsensical reasons for the change by the barman.

The landlord and bar staff are lovely people. Good atmosphere In a beautiful old pup.
