I was very disappointed to receive burnt chips and a burnt scallop.. shouldn't be allowed to serve them that way to your customers..

Great food, friendly staff and simply a really nice place for a meal. Always really helpful with my wife's need for gluten free food. Consistently good.

Another amazing Christmas day lunch, second year and we will be back. So much easier to eat out and enjoy fantastic food and service. We received a warm welcome from all the staff and we did not feel rushed at any time. Credit to all the staff especially the young members who worked on Christmas day. Food arrived at the table, delicious and hot. No complaints from us.

Booked a table which was waiting for us when we arrived and we received a very warm welcome. When the steaks arrived, they had not been cooked as requested and the waitress took the steaks away, then the chef or manager came out to apologise. We did not have to wait for long for our new steaks to arrive and this time they were perfect. All the staff at the pub are lovely and we will certainly be returning.

Superb meal last night. Beef and Stilton pie. The pastry was superb. The best I have ever tasted, compliments to cheff. Party of four and we all had great food. Very attentive staff, and lovely atmosphere. We will be back

Excellent value lunch menu, generous portions, friendly staff and the decor of the restaurant just stunning. So pretty and cosy with lots of different dining areas to choose from. Beautiful place.. I will be back with my family.

Very good meal and friendly staff. It was New Year's Eve so quite busy despite a very disappointing number of last minutes cancellations citing bad weather as the excuse. We always enjoy the atmosphere at the Holly Bush with a lovely fire and dog friendly area.

This is now a new Indian restaurant which we thought we would try as they open at lunch time. Food was very average. Service very slow. Starters arrived with no sauces until we'd almost finished. Cold plates for main course. No chocolates or mints with bill and very expensive so won't be rushing back.

Visit every time we venture to Lichfield. Over 21s bar. Such a friendly atmosphere here. Got to say they keep a good pint of ale. During the warmer months, there's a seated area behind the pub too.

A warm welcome + lovely log fire. A delicious lunch with lots of gluten-free options. The Red Lion is consistently excellent.

Emailed to book, got confirmation, drove 15 miles there, turned up on the date and time as requested and found the place to be shut. No prior advice and no response to email.

Came for our daughters 40th Birthday. The staff were brilliant. Some lovely touches. Birthday banner on the table, Birthday card from the staff and brought out a small cake for her. The food was lovely really filling and really well priced. Can't find fault with any of it. We will defo be back.

Visited today for Sunday lunch and had the most beautiful cooked Sunday roast. The full trimmings and delicious gravy! Highly recommend. Lovely staff and welcoming environment.
