Nice friendly pub, good selection of beers and ales, only downside is not much seating. Small garden in the back.

Amazing meal as always. Attentive staff and fantastic presentation. Recent award winners and its well deserved. A lot of other restaurants could take a leaf out of their book

Was good first time. Second time. Not so good

I visited this restaurant twice for dinner in 2 days, once with a large group of fellow conference delegates and a second time with my parents. The restaurant exceeded my expectations on both occasions, particularly on the first night, when with less than a week's notice (due to being let down by another establishment), they managed to serve a group of more than 20 (with no pre-orders) in a very quick and efficient manner, whilst waiting staff remained polite, efficient and professional throughout. There is still enough choice on the menu to have caused difficulty choosing on both evenings. I would be more than happy to visit again if in the area.

Tristemente esta rama ha perdido su batalla con las moscas domésticas. Al menos habían puesto redes sobre el mostrador de pastelería, pero eran demasiado numerosos para que podamos disfrutar de la experiencia.

Vengo a este Greggs bastante a menudo y siempre solo recibo servicio estándar. Hoy mi hijo ha estado vomitando y todo lo que quería probar y comer era un ‘sándwich de queso Greggs’ así que a las 3. 30 pm Corrí a Greggs esperando que quedaran 2, 1 para mi otro hijo, no había ninguno, le pregunté a la señora en till & otra señora gritó te haré uno (siempre me dicen que no les queda) ¡Dije descaradamente por favor que me den 2! A los 5 minutos ella estaba de vuelta con 2 sándwiches de queso para niños y dijo que espero que los disfruten. No puedo agradecerle lo suficiente, le pregunté por su nombre y fue Chrissy, ella merece un poco de reconocimiento, encantador, amable y fantástico servicio al cliente! Trabajo en hostelería y sé lo difícil que puede ser y lo molesto que es pedir algo antes del cierre. Así que gracias masivas, mis hijos disfrutaron de ellos y el más joven que estaba diciendo “se sentía mejor” muchas gracias 😆

Limited footfall I suppose... toilets ARE tiny only 4 loos in the mens... but the wide choice of eateries more than made up for this!
