Another fantastic meal here. Need to come more than we do. Portion sizes are huge and the quality of food is unbelievable. Fantastic hosts and a warm family atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place for everyone to try. I had crispy sweet chili beef starter and pork chops for main. Delicious

Thornhurst Manor 25th Dec what can I say are 5th Christmas dinner once again it was beautiful. Well done to chefs and all staff they was amazing couldn't ask for better already booked for Christmas 25 lol. Also breakfast with santa 24th Dec was fantastic the breakfast was massive I highly recommend this place 💯 perfect Well done to you all x

As a local in this village nothing better than calling round corner for tea to be greeted by lovely staff and home cooked food, unfortunately I won’t return and give the greed of a landlord anymore of my money. He’s not bothered about us customers doesn’t even say hello just sits there all day eating food. While queuing for my carvery I had the pleasure of standing next to him which was rather not nice food all round his mouth and sweat on his head, he then delightfully said “I’m going for a s**t” Absolutely nothing like a businessman . Many people from this village have stopped coming because of him and it’s a shame to see him ruining our local. I only hope this doesn’t affect staff jobs

Outstanding food and all of the staff are amazing. Gaynor was our server and was very helpful throughout and made me, my partner and little girl feel very welcome. Lunch menu for a starter and a main is currently only around £12.50! Salmon main is what I had and it was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back again with my family. Thank you for a great experience.

Just had a wonderful ploughman's lunch at this amazing place for me and the wife ,the other food is exerlant as well staff great and helpfull would highly recommend the classic cafe

Nos alojamos en la habitación Queen Victoria / suite por 2 noches para hijo / nuera boda (agosto, 17 2024 ). Fue un lugar maravilloso para la boda, piensa Victoriano - casa señorial gótica con un ambiente peculiar y encanto que es único para las antiguas casas de campo inglesas. Tenga en cuenta que esta es una casa antigua y tiene algunas peculiaridades con la fontanería - por lo que si usted tiene un complejo de perfección que es claramente más de un tipo lodge de viaje! El personal fue encantador, servicial, paciente y en general fabuloso; también fueron atentos y proactivos en la atención de cualquier problema y solicitud. Muy recomendable. A group of ten of us booked a table to celebrate my birthday. On the day we received a call to say that the boiler had broken and therefore the restaurant couldn't open. However, they pulled out all the stops to make sure our evening was not ruined. They re-seated us in a private dining room in the Hilton hotel next door and the chef, waiting staff, menus etc all came across too. Essentially it was exactly the same just sat in a different dining room. The menu had some lovely choices on there and every single meal was both delicious and well presented. The staff could not have been more attentive and attention was paid to every detail. Huge thanks to all the staff for making sure my birthday celebration could continue to go ahead, and for making it a great evening. I would highly recommend.

2020 Covid review Opening hours seem stale now. There's hand sanitise on the way in. No wifi. You can message them by Facebook to reserve a table. They have only 4 taps of real ales but no bottle any more. Expensive for Donny, 1.80 a half or 3.60 a pint. Old review Lovely place with 10 taps and loads of bottles. Prices are expensive for Doncaster but there is plenty of choice

My husband and I visited on Christmas Eve. We don’t go out often now due to cost of living, so we’re really looking forward to this. The day before we went for a walk and viewed the menu outside the hotel. We’re delighted by it and both chose to have the venison. When we arrived we were told that “That menu was last years”! We both had the lamb curry but at the cost of nearly £27! We thought was steep. Think the naan breads were shop bought and were very disappointed. Won’t be back.

Had a lovely home cooked meal, the landlord and landlady Stuart and Karen were extremely helpful and friendly and we would recommend to anyone.

Had the most amazing bottomless brunch at the Jazz Cafe! First time I’ve ever had bottomless brunch and been to the jazz cafe and it did not disappoint - the food was amazing, Prosecco flowing and cocktails were amazing! There were quite a few large hen parties in and although we were only a small group of 6 the service was still amazing! We really enjoyed the afternoon and can’t wait to do it again 😍

Deliciosa comida en Rothwells, me gusta mi pescado ligeramente rebozado que tiene que ser cocinado a la orden y nunca es demasiado problema, café encantador. El personal siempre ocupado y atento, gran relación calidad-precio, no ha estado durante un tiempo y se olvidó de lo encantador que son los fish and chips aquí. No pasará mucho tiempo hasta que regrese.

Comimos aquí el sábado por la noche y estábamos tan impresionados que volvimos para el almuerzo del domingo. Idealmente situado junto al canal. Comida muy sabrosa y sin duda relación calidad-precio. Personal amable y atento.
