Cosy, Homely Pub/Restaurant. Service from us going in was good, we were welcomed and seated. Great choice on the menu. Special board to, was hard to know what to choose. Hubbie and Me decided for one of the Special Board Beef Madras, Rice, Nan Bread and Mango Chutney. The Beef Curry was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing - credit to the chef. To finish we had Homemade Rice Pudding and shortbread biscuits again it was amazing The whole visit was brilliant. If your ever in the area would highly recommend a visit to this Pub, for Lunch or Evening Meal I'm sure you won't be disappointed 😊 we will definately be back thank you

Pub is very run down and no longer serves food which it was once renown for. Not very welcoming Only open Thursday to Sunday.

This cafe is now called Miss Bs pantry. Very friendly ladies and delicious food. As a coeliac myself I have to have gluten free. This is very well catered for here so my partner and I have visited on numerous occasions.Various selection of savoury dishes and cakes. Lovely latte too. Well worth a visit.

The landlady is amazing made us feel welcome,the pub it self is lovley and friendly, everyone makes you feel so welcome, we have come from Manchester and all the people in the pub have made us feel apart of them. The landlady a landlord as made us feel so welcome to so yes I would recommend this pub by far I would recommend more then a 5* I will be returning here as oi felt so welcoming xxx

We stayed at a holiday rental just outside Stamford Bridge and were thrilled to find this place for our breakfast/brunch needs. Lovely little place with delicious coffee and spellbinding toasties. We even called in on our final day to get some treats for the road!

Visited with my husband and got some seafood from this shop. Owner (man) was very rude with no please or thank you. Your attitude won’t get your business far at all!

The Deluxe "a bit of everything" salad box is absolutely amazing, it weighs about a kilo. Photos don't do it justice, will definitely be making this a regular 😁

my wife and I got a cold cut up chicken sandwich and way under cooked pasta salad with cheap mayo . it said grilled chicken so by some chance I thought it might have been hot.wwow!!and the French dip was equally horrific. the place smelled like a massive hard boiled egg peeling contest was taking place ..at least I hope that is what is was. geeez!!safe to say we won't be back.

Excellent pub, friendly polite staff and dog friendly. Even though myself and partner only go there once or twice fortnightly, the staff are always polite and very sociable. They work tirelessly serving and keeping the tables nice and clean.

My wife and I came for our dinner after some shopping, delicious as usual, we'll be back at some point in future, no complaints whatsoever

Pizza was lovely very fast delivery was shocked at how fast it came. Got pizza on 50% off offer I definitely would not pay £24.99 for any pizza

Polite, friendly, good food, efficient, top notch .

Food wasn't bad but wasn't good, just tasted like an average chippy, girl behind the counter needs customer service training at least, was like she didn't want to be there, if that's the case then leave... went to shut the door when it was -3, was told the door had to stay open or customers wouldn't know they was open, well I suggest a sign normal or flashing to say open, when you are, turn the lights of the sign on.... then asked for a large gravy, told rudely we only do one size... won't be using this chippy again when I return back to Pocklington....

This is our 2nd visit and it certainly didn't disappoint! My husband and I both chose to have the trio of roasts and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and decor were spot on and top class service from a very nice young man called Alex!
