Great puddings great range of choice. Cookie dough is lovely and warm with a range of toppings, milkshakes are amazing and the new mini doughnuts the kids loved. Price is very reasonable. Always warm on delivery will use again

Arrived on a wet Monday and it was pretty busy. Having announced we had booked for our party of four we discovered that none of us had actually booked so, no booking. Anyway, despite it being very busy the lovely staff sorted us out and managed to fit us in which was great. The food and service was great and the staff couldn’t do more to make us feel welcome. The fish and chips were far better than a big nearby popular rival’s. All meals came with tea and bread and butter. Overall, a lovely experience and thanks to the staff for their attention, politeness and general niceness. Ta much. See you again.

My daughter wanted her family 21st birthday here. Went for afternoon tea. Superb, more like an “English Tapas” food was excellent, hot and tasty with a great selection from soul to burgers to fish and chips to desserts. Service was also excellent, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Thanks to all the staff for making it a memorable afternoon. Note to self;;; must go more often..

We ordered two cream scones. One came as ordered, one with just butter. Server abruptly and angrily declared " OK I'll sort it!" and returned with the missing jam and cream. Scones were stale and rock hard to the point of being inedible. Not wishing to receive any more of the server's bad attitude we just left. won't be going back. Ever!

What more to say other that the title, brilliant food and drinks it’s just a shame about the type of people it attracts. You know the kind, d**kheads who try to look good and “pull birds”. More commonly known and curbys. Just absolutely not the type of people you want to be around. 10/10 food. 1/10 customers. 10/10 would recommend to anybody wanting their night ruined by jacked up little boys who think they’re gods gift.

An established place - been around for some rime and has a loyal following of diners. Available are breakfasts, 3 course dinners and much more, In fact so popular is it that we had to reserve our table, The 2 members of staff are very friendly and know many of the regulars by first name, Tea is served in pots, coffee is available in mugs or cups and nice touches like did I want my coffee served with my meal or afterwards, It doesn't pretend to be something it is not, or re-invent itself and that's probably why it is so popular

What a lovely surprise - when they say they’re dog friendly they really are. Buster loved his puppachino! Tyler was really welcoming and friendly, and prepared some lovely fresh food for us. If you want a super healthy choice they do that too. Such a great choice of food and drinks. We will be back very soon :)

Booked afternoon tea for four. On arrival we were informed the toilets were broken. I asked if they had an arrangement with any local pub/restaurant to use the facilities and was told “no”. We were asked to choose our sandwich, an afternoon generally consists of a selection of sandwiches and fillings, this was the first disappointment. The other savoury items included were, an espresso cup of soup with a soggy piece of toasted bread and a piece of cheese in breadcrumbs. The scone was dry, hard and unpleasant. The “cakes” were at best average. They consisted of a mini, very soggy, tasteless mint chocolate brownie, a gingerbread biscuit that was undercooked and you left finger marks in it when picking it up, a chocolate baileys torte that was so gloopy you could not pick it up. Everything had been “glued” to the top tier of the stand with chocolate syrup. Not necessarily what you want with an undercooked mince pie, or anything else on the plate. When paying we were asked if we enjoyed it, I answered it was OK, she answered the plates look empty, she did not ask why or apologise. Indeed the plates were empty but the cake stands were not as we had left food on them. Very poor food and the person at the till extremely rude.

After a lot of discussion with locals we went against their recommendations at thought we would try Beckett's as in the past it was always a nailed on option. The new management seems to have let the crown slip the restaurant is now closed. The chips were very nice but the peas were watery and an odd green colour albeit nice in taste but eating green soup with fork isn't easy. The fish was in great batter but unfortunately was bland and tasteless so ended up in the bin and seagulls. Shame considering it's reputation but if you just want Chips and Peas and maybe a sausage then I can't see why I wouldn't visit again. On a plus side they are Fabulous on they're allergy knowledge which is always a big positive to us

Always visit Pennels when we visit Cleethorpes as it offers competitively priced food and drink in the cafe, good disabled facilities for my Mum to use and at the moment the Christmas shop is excellent. Tea and cake today was lovely. Highly recommend the lemon drizzle.

Having been a regular visitor to Willies for the last 40 years plus I am saddened by the poor service we received yesterday. Generally the staff are OK but one barmaid sporting numerous tattoos took it upon herself to be particularly unpleasant. We tried to order food, OK it was 11:45 and was promptly told by her they weren't taking orders until 12 pm, OK I thought. So at around 3 minutes to 12 I dutifully stood at the bar, 2 people were in the queue in front of me ordering food. When it came to my turn the same girl told me they weren't taking any more orders as they had too many (it was 12:03). How can that be? They supposedly weren't taking orders until 12 pm and I was third in the queue. At this point we decided due to a lack of information we would eat elsewhere. I told the barmaid we were going and wouldn't be returning and she mouthed something along the lines of "God riddance b*tch". Excellent service!! The owner Bill needs to be aware of the behaviour and demeanour of some of his staff as it is turning people away who have been loyal customers for years. I won't be returning until that particular barmaid is removed.
