I occasionally come to Farnborough from Germany for work and get something to eat there at lunchtime. I love the place. Delicious food and friendly staff. And all at a fair price!

Excellent chippy , fish cooked fresh, staff were friendly and efficient, and both the fish and chips tasted great. The prices were unbelievable too, well worth a visit

Another fantastic time at Taste Restaurant within Leicester College. There was an amazing choice for the lunch time menu for the four of us.. Everyones choice was delicious, presented beautifully & a very high standard. We loved everything but I would like to specially mention the panna cotta, it was the best. The staff are so friendly, happy, polite & smart. The table was set lovely, top marks to everyone on the day. Always a pleasure to visit , looking forward already to our next lunch, which is very soon.

The Service is just right & very helpful. The Food is first class & they do the best Bubble would recommend this Cafe beat the one across the Road hands down for Service & Food

We arrived just before closing, so chose from what was already cooked. I had a battered sausage and my husband had a cheese and leek pie, which he said was delicious. We both had chips, which were a huge portion, and really good.

first time popped in-most tables were already taken having breakfast; always seek decaffinated coffee(from machine-not sachet!!) and said to us-"no problem". 4 staff busying around in kitchen area to cope with orders. Few minutes later large cups duly presented to us with a biscuit-nice touch and without asking -a jug of hot water(rare sight) The coffees were excellent. worth going back for a meal someday.

Amazing! Fantastic coffee (try the Spanish latte it's delicious), great music and wonderful service (Ata is professional, obliging and really knows his coffee). Altogether lovely coffee drinking experience - highly recommended!

We have eaten here for Sunday roast and enjoyed a recent 'round the world' evening (Caribbean). The staff are wonderful ... really welcoming and attentive throughout. The food ..... omg!! You can smell how wonderful it's going to be, as soon as you park your car ... It is absolutely delicious 😋... the roasts are gorgeous, loads of tender meat/choice and beautifully cooked veg.. with a huge yorkshire pud ... that I wish I could master, but why bother when you can come to the L&R!! 🤔😁 The themed nights are tapas style with loads of meat/veg/hot/cold options and believe me.... each dish just absolutely melts in your mouth, and all are all so full of flavour and perfect balance of herbs/spices.... just simply delicious. Before each time we've been, we said to each other... 'we're not having desert' ... then seeing what comes out of the kitchen.. that statement went out the window!! Once you've finished, you can also then take home a selection of goodies ... pastries/pies/cakes etc from the fabulous deli counter... and I challenge you not to eat them before you get home ... or eat them as soon as you do get home ... as they smell, look, and taste so delicious. There's a fabulous choice of beers and lovely wines. Please visit, you will not be disappointed. Thank you L&R... keep up the good work and delicious food... and as Annie said .... we'll be back!! Fantastic little cafe!! Don’t normally write food reviews on TripAdvisor but considering the last 18months we’ve all had, I think more people need to pay RT’s a visit. Excellent food and great staff to go with it. Will definitely be back!!

Visited Sunday and had a delicious Sunday Roast. I had Beef and my husband had lamb. Served with fresh vegetables and traditional Yorkshire pudding. The Chocolate cake that was served as dessert was also delicious, according to my husband! Great value and highly recommend.

Friendly, helpful service, delicious food and a nice selection in the shop. A truly lovey tearoom. I can recommend the sausage and egg sandwich!

To start with this is a cafe not a restaurant. So they specialise in lots of different sandwiches. They also serve jacket potatoes and soup, plus cakes. I have been twice now in the last couple of weeks and both times the food and the staff have been great. Today I was with two other people (one who is a very fussy eater), we all ordered different meals and we were all really happy with what we had. They cater for meat and fish eaters as well as veggie and vegan people as well. I don't think that they serve GF bread but they do a good selection of jackets so no problem there. The only slight drawback is the size. You can end up waiting for a table though you can order to take away as well. Prices are good too compared with the town I live in. So, basically a no frills cafe with great food and great service. I would recommend this to almost anybody except that the toilet is not wheelchair user friendly.

Excellent cafe serving home made food. Good value for money would defiantly return again when in the area. Recommend the Maria's full breakfast.
