A very friendly establishment selling food and drinks at competitive prices. Chef and manager will often go out of their way to ensure your complete enjoyment. Cannot fault the place.

Nice restaurant. We thought the menu looked ok, so decided to give it a try. We were delighted with the meals - they exceeded our expectations: beautifully cooked and presented.

Called in at the 9 Shore St, Anstruther bakery shop of GH Barnett. Lots of calories to chose from. Having made my decision my wife noticed a slice of Tipsy cake. Childhood memories. Treat all those many years ago was Tipsy cake surrounded by marzipan. Never see it now. This Tipsy cake was made with icing but its the sponge you really want to taste. I have now decided Anstruther should be known for Tipsy cake rather than chips. I'll be back.

First time I've been to the this place very clean and food very good. Marked this 3 out of 5 as found the staff eaten behind the counter a bit off putting. Surely you can eat out of the food preparation area. Wouldnt stop me trying it again though.

The meal was excellent and the food stunning. The newly refurbished clubhouse looked great and with about 20 others the atmosphere was good. Great views over the course. Best thing was the range of food available and the worst was the huge portions!! Fantastic value for money. The service was extremely friendly and very helpful. Happy people!! The "secret eatery" in Kirriemuir which is not well known with the public. The range of drinks available is also great at good prices. Everyone should try it and then become a social member for not much! Well done to the staff.

loved the scenery, loved the food, staff were excellant, and they had a great sense of humour, sitting at the log fire in entrance late at night was very relaxing.

Great little cafe. Lovely local cafe with local food. Nice staff and very easy going. Breakfast rolls and seafood chowder were excellent. The museum well worth a visit.

Excellent presentation and equally matched with good quality food. The haggis Bon Bons were perfectly cooked with a nice crisp side salad & Tasty dip. The rump steak was excellent value for money, tender and tasty. My only tiny gripe was our chocolate fudge cake tasted more like sticky toffee pudding but none the less it was deliciously soft we didn’t complain 😊Friendly, prompt service and all reasonably priced . Will definitely return and would recommend .

Easy to find .. just a few steps from the Harbour, behind the Harbour Office .. an immaculate display of fresh fish and an equally amazing display of their home made pies and other products made on the premises .. we were welcomed by two ladies, the current members of the generation of the founders, who were so proud to share their recommendations and to answer all our questions. We very much enjoyed their Tandoori flavoured Salmon ..and their homemade Salmon, Cream Cheese & Spinach Pasties .. which also we took away for our lunch! For breakfast tomorrow their speciality of Arbroath Smokies to look forward to ! A truly memorable experience .. and definitely a “must visit” if you are anywhere near to in the area!

Great place to get food to go hot and cold filled rolls. Soup, wraps, burgers and cakes. Hot and cold drinks. Made fresh to order. Plus newspapers, essentials. Friendly staff always happy to chat.

This cafe has now closed. However, as the station buildings are now run by volunteers, the Gallery or Forth Bridge Heritage Centre is open all day. The cafe has been taken over by a coffee roasting business. The Waiting Room and Gallery are both available for meetings.

Called in whiskey walking . Had a cheese and onion toastie . It was nice enough but not much taste . Also a cheese and pickle sandwich. Fresh bread but again not much taste . Coffees were nice . We had a scone which wasn’t very good 3/10 for that . Came in cardboard recycling boxes . A bit overkill . Overall prices not bad on the food but can of Fanta was £2.30 . Fair enough you pay more on an island but that’s a bit extreme. Staff were friendly.

Random stop before hiking. It looked crowded which is always a good sign. Incredibly friendly servers, great coffee and pastries AND a beautiful view looking out on the back terrace.

This place is open for meals on Sundays from 12-6pm. The menu is good value and features a good choice of traditional polish dishes e.g. pork cutlet, various pierogi dishes etc.. The weekly 'menu of the day' is generally published on the club's Facebook page the day before. We found the food tasty and the staff friendly. We plan to visit again soon.
