I took a group of volunteers, from the Barshaw Peace Garden workers for a Christmas lunch. There were 14 of us and for the size of the kitchen I was a bit concerned, they wouldn't be able to cope. However, we had nothing to fear, the service and food was excellent, the food was very tasty and portions were a good size. No complaints from any of our party, who all enjoyed the afternoon. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We are already thinking of booking a year in advance.

Lewis efficiency and teamwork were impressive; even during busy hours, he managed to keep the service prompt and friendly. I also appreciated how knowledgeable he was about the menu, sharing stories about the origins of certain spirits and the inspiration behind their signature cocktails. It added a wonderful depth to the experience. In a world where service can often feel impersonal, Lewis at Overlee truly set a new standard. I left not only satisfied with my drinks but also with a sense of connection and enjoyment. I can't wait to return and experience their incredible service again!

Rotten chips, 1 tea, 1 roll and sausage, 1 coke, 1 beefburger £19.60. It was somewhere we used to go to regularly. Too expensive for a cafe in a market, won't be back.
