The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Romford Town Havering London

Great place to dine. Clean place with clean toilets, nice food and great service. Reasonably priced. Parking can be a bit of a pain but safest bet is The Brewery or infront of Romford Library - both metered. I'd go again.

I sampled the dishes for the first time in view of ordering dishes for get together celebrations on Easter Sunday. This is a family business and the food served was delicious with good portions. There are wide range selections of filifino cuisines that I took so long to decide what to order for our party. The cafe is simple, but with a good atmosphere & the place was very clean & tidy. The service from the young man was very good & made you feel welcome. I met Edna (owner) who gave me a lot of confidence in selecting dishes to order for the party. I highly recommend the place to eat & meet up with friends. I will definitely have my lunch here when I’m in Romford.

The restaurant was extremely busy last night and we had hoped it would match the fab experience we had at Cosmo Sheffield a few years ago, sadly it didn't. . The food was good, although could have been hotter. It was replenished regularly and most was tasty and enjoyable, although some of the meat was tough as boots. In our opinion, it was mainly spoilt by the other customers there. From a family complaining about the pricing and location of their table, to a kids party, to toddlers running around, screaming girls climbing and standing on their seats to get in and out. It was in no way relaxing and was so noisy that we couldn't hear each other speak. Our chairs were continually knocked as the groups raced back and forth to the food area. We felt that we were seated far too close to the louder groups and it was uncomfortable. We did expect it to be busy and a bit manic, as we go to Jimmy's regularly and it can be the same, but in my opinion, Jimmy's is far more organised, less manic and the staff seem to be less stressed there. Everyone was dashing around, plates were not cleared quickly and there didn't appear to be enough staff. In summary, the food was good, the place was cramped, noisy and very manic with many grumpy looking staff and customers. Sorry to say, we are not sure we will return in a hurry.

Amazing food and great service nothing like your usual Chinese restaurant as everything cooked fresh. Highly recommended

Best chinese in romford really hope they reopen

Worst Chinese we have ever ordered. Took 1 hour 45 to be delivered. The worst “salt and chilli” chips. They actually tasted like cinnamon and sugar- no peppers or onions in them. No spice. Chicken chow mein tasted old and not fresh. Don’t usually write a review but this is THE WORST Chinese we have ever had. Did not even touch the prawn balls as scared they would not be cooked. Do not order from here unless they sort themselves out.

Very disappointing. Ordered via Uber and all arrived 30mins late and cold. Didn’t feel freshly cooked. Chicken cashews was totally tasteless. Crispy beef was all congealed. First time I threw away leftover.

Lacked a lot of flavour, no seasoning at all.

No hay palabras para describir cómo estoy decepcionado con este restaurante. 1- Comida llegamos 2 horas después de la orden. Llamé al restaurante después de una hora para averiguar que no vea mi orden. 2 - la comida del día siguiente 3 veneno llamado el restaurante para darles una oportunidad de abordar mi insatisfacción internamente. Me dijeron que llamara en 30 minutos mientras el administrador se ve en ella. 4 - Llamado una hora más tarde y el director de alguna manera tenía amnesia y no recuerdo mi conversación y me acusó de mentir porque su comida, aparentemente, no puede dar la veneno. 5 - yo era paciente y les dimos el beneficio de la duda porque todos cometemos errores, pero este era tirado atrás en mi cara.
