The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Hillingdon London

For some reason I had never frequented Shan Shui before - but I certainly will again when I'm next at Heathrow Terminal 2. On this first visit, I tried all of the different prawn dimsum and I would happily try them all again - for me, the Sichuan chilli oil wonton was the standout.

After a long shift I wanted some hearty dinner. I was the only person there and it seems the hostess was new and couldn’t tell me much about the menu when I was hungry, tiered and wanted feeding - we’ve all been there learning so I gave benefit of the doubt. I gave my order and noticed these errors through the meal: - The hostess put sticky ribs instead of salt and pepper ribs (the portions were small for price) They did replace them, but they tried to double gaslight me into thinking I didn’t order salt and pepper. - The salt and pepper chips weren’t authentic, I’ve had them many times and these just were fries with seasoning which they charged me £6 for - It was only me in the building and I wanted the WiFi password, they said no. - I had to go air several minutes to flag my waiter for more water. THEN: When I asked for the service charge to be removed, the cook / owner said why do you want the service not charged, and I explained why. And he kept being rude and asking why even though I gave answers. Pilling on the pressure, it was awful. If he didn’t pressure me at the end I would not have wrote this review but the rudeness on top was beyond. I’ve been a young waitress before, but you simply don’t get a service charge for less than average work. Sorry. Not getting your service charge is the only way you’ll improve.

Great value for Pint beers £3.00 foster good location just next to west Drayton. Caissy in the bar is very friendly.

Great quality food, ordered a range of dishes for New Year’s Eve and the quality of all of them were absolutely great! Could not fault anything every time I have ordered the food as been spot on. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good reliable Chinese

Very small portion sizes and not great tasting. Have had much better from other takeaways in same area. Would not order again.

Huge regret. Very expensive for portion sizes and reheated food. The pancakes for the duck weren't even reheated, but came in a sealed plastic pack which someone must have heated up...they tasted like rubber. The difference between freshly made Chinese food and this, is world's apart.

I blame just eat for delivery as the restaurant did all they could but the communication between them and drivers was terrible.

Best dosa in London! Shankar the chef, makes them really well, the authentic south Indian way. I never leave reviews but as a dosa fan my cravings have been fulfilled to the maximum. Excellent and friendly service by Yasodha and manager Steve.

I had just eaten at Tai Pan and I felt compelled to write a review. I am so disappointed at the service that me and my wife experienced this evening, which is such a shame because the food was actually really good. We had a starter followed by duck and pancakes which came in reasonable time but strangely the waitress started taking plates away on the table even though my wife hadn’t finished eating! Unfortunately our main course never came. On numerous occasions, the waitresses assured us that the food would arrive imminently - To no avail! An hour and a half past and eventually my patience ran out and then I requested the bill. Once presented with the bill, they even had the audacity to charge for service charge despite the fact that the service was diabolical. A restaurant cannot rely solely on having good food, it also needs good service. The service was severely lacking tonight and I don’t see myself coming back - Which is such a shame.

This has been our local Chinese since the 90's! The food is always fresh, a good sized portion and very decent pricing. The lady at the front of house keeps to herself but is polite and helpful.
