The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Stockport North West

We always go to Tangs whether for takeaway or eat in as the food is always great and so are the staff. I don't know if they had a stand in chef tonight but our takeaway was very very poor. Meat spring rolls, meat very grisly. Chicken peanut satay sauce - tasteless. Sweet and Sour chicken, batter and chicken very chewy and congealed and oil seemed to have been used too many times. Maybe just a bad night and we'll try again but only once if it's the same as tonight!

The fillet steak in black pepper was amazing so soft and everything else was beautiful..1st time ordering and will definitely be ordering again

Chinese food superb but sadly the chips were hard and spoilt the meal 😕 hope they weren't warmed from lunch time, if so it doesn't work.

Literally best chippy been going here since being kids. Friendly always lovely food Place is really clean too

No, my order was to take away. Alway pleasant staff, and food is top quality. We always enjoy the food from there. We travel to this Chinese restaurant as the ones in our area are nowhere near as good.

Don’t go if you fancy some nice fresh ‘chippy chips’ Went in, no muffins, ok, not a major catastrophe. Just ordered chips. 2 seconds later out from the back with a bag of chips in a plastic bag. No ‘salt and vinegar?’ Asked. Just handed over. Clearly been bagged up a while. Asked for S&V and put on my own. Got to car and tasted one! Most definitely oven chips 🙈………hard and dry! Oh well, lesson learned

Food is good the service is also great but the cleanliness of the staff specially is sickening, if another place offers the same service i would run to them. But there isn’t any even the price is good… god I hope they see this and clean up and keep themselves clean, I mean this in their best interest.

FOOD WAS RAW ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTINGLY RAW AND BRIGHT PINK WILL NOT BE ORDERING AGAIN SALT AND PEPPER CHICKEN

We have had several takeaways from here. Always lovely and large portions. I would highly recommend a visit. Can’t wait for our next visit

This has been our favourite Chinese takeaway for years. Had a really dissmeal last month but decided to give it another go. Yet again the spare ribs had no meat on them and the prawns in plum sauce was in Pineapple chunks like the duck. Why have plum sauce on the menu when they don't do it? Really disappointing. Won't back unfortunately

Been coming here since it opened....so many years ago. Always been great, best spare ribs bar none. Don't know if changed hands or new chef (trying to save money) But honestly the worst Chinese meal I have had in many a year. I don't like leaving negative reviews,or reviews at all, but sorry ill be giving it a wide berth from now on ☹️

I normally love this place but Chicken fried rice. Not good Honey ribs x4 And vermicelli 1 prawn Very different to usual Served in polystyrene containers Sorry but not good
