Another stunning meal here tonight, this restaurant is always first class. The food oozes flavour and the service second to none. Highly recommended.

We’ve just enjoyed a really tasty takeaway from Number One Chinese Restaurant. Like other have said, the Sesame Prawn Toast is delicious - generous prawn layer, crispy and chewy all at once and not remotely greasy. Lemon Chicken is my usual order from a Chinese, and this was amongst the best I’ve had. Everything else we ordered was yummy, and the portions are generous. Most impressively, when I ordered at 5.40pm and they said it would be around 40 mins for delivery, I said that was fine but that we had a hungry toddler so any earlier would be appreciated. They were at our door 20 mins later. Brilliant customer service, thank you!

We were horribly patronised and dealt with like unwelcome intruders for simply suggesting a booth when we arrived . very rude.. sad to lose chichester wagamama from our options in chichester.. luckily lots of other restaurants available . The fat fig were very pleasant

First impressions count and they failed. Waiting outside whilst they decide if going to open, enter and the focus is the setting up for takeaway orders, someone still doing food prep, waitress coughing and spluttering at another table and owners family eating lunch. Nobody seems interested in diners it’s all about the takeaway service. Tables set with cutlery, sorry for me it’s chopsticks first and then cutlery is an option, are you a Chinese restaurant or an English one doing Chinese food? The duck was dry and overcooked, their homemade hoisin was odd. Noodles were good as was the salt pork ribs but Wowzers was it all over priced and they charged me for the takeaway containers for my leftovers. Do they charge customers ordering takeaway for the containers I wonder? The young lad working there was great, attentive and polite. Decide if want to focus on takeaway or dine in or at least make your dine in customers feel special so they want to come back. I most definitely don’t !!!

been coming to this restaurant for about 10 yrs and has always consistently good not a cheap eats kind of place but service food and quality has been good but went recently and has gone downhill food not anywhere near the standard it used to be portions smaller less meat or fish and flavours nothing like they should be im not a food critic but go to Chinatown a lot and all the main we had at bejing palace tasted the same base sauce of hot chilli wouldnt recommend ever again which is sad

Food was bland and pretty much tasteless , not my local Chinese thank heavens , I just happened to be on the area on holiday

I ordered 2 chicken omelette they were discussed and horrible not cook enough flat like anything I can get a deaper ones in Swindon I can't beat nythe road fish and chip shop they are cooked like a omelette should be will not be going back I paid 10 pound for 2 I can get chicken omelette and chips for 4.50 at Swindon

Amazing experience & great price. The lady on the phone was lovely, we placed a large order and got it delivered as we were visiting Selsey for NYE. The chef hot specials, special fried rice & the crispy duck were particularly incredible! Delivery guys were great too- definitely recommend! Thanks again 🩷

A great place, food is always full of flavour. Never had an issue with food or service despite other reviews. Personally I think it's the best choice n Chi and the lady on the counter is brilliant. 10/10 every time!!!

Very nice people with excellent customer service and the food was really tasty, hot and the portions were very good. We went early evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Some of the reviews on here seem to be written by people with an ulterior motive. They certainly bear no resemblance to the positive experience we had. Will happily return if we are in the area.
