Last minute treat tonight, delivery meal before we head into full time Christmas!! Telephone order, paid over the phone, very quick delivery and really lovely food. Crispy seaweed was best ever, as were prawn toasts and Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup. Recommended

Eaten here for years but tonight the food was awful the sweet and sour pork was so overcooked it was cremated and so chewy it was unedable and everything else was bland

Ordered this food for delivery and it took ages and food tasted awful AVOID

Thought would try rather than red lantern opposite. Mistake. Food quality not as good. No free prawn crackers. Dishes very wet. What really disgusted me was the servers eating chips from packages waiting to be collected. Could not believe what I was seeing. They did not care. I would NOT recommend.

Shocking. Ordered over £70 of takeaway. They took my money then cancelled the order. Fighting to get money back now

Have only ordered here a couple times and this was honestly one of the worst takeaways I've had! Service and speed was ok, the food just did not taste nice. We had kung po chicken and crispy shredded beef. The chicken was so sweet but tasteless, and the beef tasted like egg. It says almost like the batter was wrong or something. Noodles with beansprouts were below average and egg fried rice tasted like hard microwavable rice. I don't give bad reviews but this takeaway was not nice, I was really looking forward to it as well and it disappointed in more ways than one. 1/10 afraid.

Very poor food. The lemon chicken was like eating candy, way too sweet. Dumplings were ok, wine was ok but overall very poor. We left the chicken almost untouched and told the waitress that it was unedible but she didn’t care. Spent £38 and left hungry. Go somewhere else. Never asked for track and trace either,

I asked specifically to have the onion cooked in my curry dish, but it came out raw again, perhaps they struggle to understand, I really don't get it!? The curry sauce was made from powder and was B Awful!

Used to go here regularly a few years ago and was always satisfied with food and staff etc. Unfortunately, the wheels have come off. £15.99 for adults, half price for kids, for a basic buffet. Staff were unfriendly. They charge you before the meal. Probably so you don't do a runner. As I said, food is basic. Rice, noodles, steamed vegetables, sweet and sour, curry, etc. The normal prawn toast and nuggets. Definitely not worth the £16. However the food is edible and it's cheaper during weekdays. Won't be going back, unless they improve.

Lots of recent changes in Mayflower Street, most recently the opening of Oishi Sushi up here at the eastern end.

Very poor! Cold food, bad attitude of staff. No replacement offered, totally rude attitude Do not recommend. Was waiting at the front door a came in as soon as the young lady waved as in , there was no need for Cold Food 😡😡made phone call at 1742! Waited outside for 15 minutes, drove 2 minutes home, once home decided it was too Cold to eat so from ordering to complaining was 45 minutes?? Not 1hrs 😡😡

Absolutely shocking service told 30mins at time of order 1hour later still no delivery, called and very rude staff called me a lier and could not give me a time of delivery, will never use again, definitely don’t recommend
