Tasty food Been our local for years

Our usual was closed, so we gave it a go. Service was excellent and food was very good. For us it won't replace our usual one, but it will be used for variety. Update - our usual one has lost the crown. Recently they have not been so good, so we went to eastern star. Telephone order, parking available, excellent service, excellent food. Eastern Star is now first choice for our household.

Wouldn’t bother. Waiting 2 hours for food, and every time called up kept saying 10 min. Had the phone put down twice. The guy is super rude. Never again would I order from here .

Did not feel up to cooking and i love chinese curry but the chicken curry from here was up there with the worse i have ever had and i have had some bad ones, what little flavor there was was vile but if it was edible then i am sure the amount of salt in it and the greasy fried rice would have given me a heart attack, they obviously dont taste their food or eat it them selves because they would be ashamed to sell that. The front of house is very cold, grubby and unwelcoming and so are the staff. They dont deserve any custom and they will never get mine again, so i never got to eat and £9 went in the bin.

Ordered early at 5.15pm before mad rush, still didn't get food 2 and a half hours. Think they need more staff and drivers!

Bought a special fried rice and curry sauce.. The fried rice was like nothing I'd ever seen before! It was in some kind of insipid sauce that was beyond description. It was horrid! The curry sauce was good however. I went after finding a review which said it was good.. No! I won't be back there again. No sir.

Not the best terrible . I have to admit this was like dish water shocking.. nothing more I can say.. definitely not a curry.. put mushrooms and chicken in water be better

Delivery time good wrong food asked us if they could owe us . Replacement spare ribs at£8.20 were awful over cooked. Won't be using again.

Waited over 2 and half hours for our food then to be delivered with hair in our food, I’ve used this place for over 20 years and I will never go back, there response on the telephone was pretty much get on and eat it! It and they were disgusting, after ringing them they were not interested as they had no delivery drivers,

Awful food please and most definitely the worse Chinese i have ever had! Chips and chicken balls under cooked & the sauce was like stock water. All went straight in the bin complete waste of money!
