The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

It’s nice food for really affordable prices. The only issues we have is the timing and the short window of which the shop is open apart from that everything is good. I recommend going if you are in Lancaster.

Victoria Peak is by far the best Chinese restaurant/takeaway in the area. We booked in for the buffet and was greeted by the most lovely and welcoming hosts. The food was beyond what we expected and was all made fresh, we will definitely be back and we can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for a lovely evening Victoria Peak!

I'd say Famous House is the no. 1 chinese takeaway in Thame! I guess they have a real top chef in the kitchen. That's why the quality of food has never disappointed me! The staff are very friendly as well! So when I'm lazy to cook, Famous House is always the place to go for me 😄

So we have used New Lotus House as our go to Chinese many times and never left a review always forgetting, so having filled my face once again from there and totally loving every belly busting mouthful, I finally got round to sharing my experience with everyone, quite simply put, if you love your Chinese Saturday night endulgent, I almost guarantee you'll not be disappointed , tonight's meal reminded me just how perfectly cooked i was and delicious. Avoid. We ordered a takeaway from this Chinese on 23/11/24 and were up the whole night with food poisoning. We phoned to complain but they refused to listen or even investigate the dishes we had eaten. We have lodged a complaint with the local council about their food hygiene, but please save yourself and don't order from here!

Best in carlisle by a mile prices reflect this but rightly so would rather pay a tiny bit more for better quality

It's very traditional, no frills place, but food is excellent and served pretty quick. Asked to pay in advance which is fine and menu is quite extensive, something for everyone. Not the most maintained of places but it it probably aimed at the student population and area. If you are looking for great traditional authentic food and not too fussy about the decor or furnishings, then would highly recommend. It's great food.

I Honestly cannot explain how amazing this food is! If you wondering what to get I would always recommend a number 3 (willow house special fried rice) TRUST ME it never ever disappoints! In the years of going there, they have not once got my order wrong! I’d give them 10 stars if possible. Funny enough I’m just about to leave to get one now :)
