The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

I ordered some gift vouchers by post for family for Christmas, however they went missing in the post. I contacted the restaurant and they went above and beyond to get the replacement vouchers to the recipients. Absolutely fantastic service and great communication. My family love dining at here and I am told that the food and restaurant is wonderful. I am sure that they will enjoy using their vouchers. Thank you so much!

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years ❤️ my earliest memories dining at this restaurant is when I was 10 years old… I am now 23 years old and coming to this fantastic restaurant is just as magical as the first time ! Everything from food to the wonderful service is 10/10 !

came here today after i enjoyed my last meal i had here and food was not good i had taken out what i didnt like and was charged to take out the food ontop of eating in and whatever paper tat they put the food in had made everything spill all over the place rediculous also OVERPRICED

A fairly small, simple and quaint restaurant, but excellent value and delicious Chinese food. The chicken and sweetcorn soup is some of the best I have ever tasted. Well seasoned and the texture is perfect, as often some places make it way too gloopy. The prawn toast had more prawn in it than virtually every other place i have been, furthermore you can tell its homemade rather than the oh so common freezer to fryer ones made with a prawn and chicken mix. The hot garlic beef steak was absolutely divine, so tender and spicy, a standout dish. Only downside, the sweet and sour wasn’t great, I have much better elsewhere, but the rest of the food is so good it doesn’t bother me, I just don’t order it anymore! If you have somewhere to eat at home, there isn’t much advantage to eating out at the restaurant compared to as a takeaway as its a simple setting, but regardless the staff have always been very friendly and catered to our needs well. The best Chinese in Bowness/Windermere and it’s not even close! (And trust me, at the time of writing we have been to them all!)

Lovely place, I can see why it's so popular. We had the set menu and it was really good. The food was hot, delicious and there was plenty of it! They even refilled our rice when it ran low. Very reasonably priced for what you get.

Food was great. Services was ok maybe a little more attention would have been better possibly just giving us space to talk. Wasn’t that busy so atmosphere would probably better at peak times. Bit of a hidden gem deffo worth a try

The best Xiao Long Bao/ fresh noodles 🍜 in Cambridge!!! This place serves authentic and tasty Chinese food!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing freshly handmade dumplings and noodles! You must try!!! Tips: Depending on the time of your intended visit, you probably have to wait in a long queue Therefore, try to visit outside rush hours as there are a limited number of seating. All in all I would say it is definitely worth waiting. Cash only payment

Never felt so unwelcome! The pavilion became a place to meet up with friends, have nice food and enjoy wine! The last two times me and my friend have met up we have been practically pushed out the door. We are never noisy, always polite, we pay the scandalous £20 a bottle for the house wine which we have around 3/4 bottles between us. Yet by 8.40pm they are clearing our table, don’t ask if we want dessert or another bottle (I would understand if we were slirring our words or showing sign of being drunk) we were basically told it was time to leave. The restaurant was very quiet but yet they didn’t want our custom. Unfortunately we won’t be back!

Absolutely outrageous service food was all dry not edible staff shouting because I said the duck wasn’t nice.
