The best Chippy in and around Glossop. Lovely staff and the food is awesome. The home made pies are amazing. Menu offers something for everyone.

Passing through Buxton and just spotted so called in. Looks nice inside and friendly ladies and plenty to choose from. Asked for any recommendations and was suggested a BLT with added Chicken in a hoagie, 😋 this was beautiful and will definitely be going back next time I’m passing through

Called in here yesterday after a quick visit to Castleton. I always look forward to Cod and Chips here, we had 2 cod and chips and both were perfect, cod was so fresh with lovely white flakey fish cooked to absolute perfection, not sure how the guy that cooks it manages to get consistent results but for me it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had and I’ve tried quite a few. Wish we lived nearer to visit more often.

Completely got my order wrong despite repeating it back to me as ordered. I asked for 2 battered sausage regular chips and a beef&onion pie. What I received was a regular chips 2 regular sausage and a pork pie. I like this chip shop but if you can't follow fulfill a basic order I would recommend looking elsewhere. You could turn round and say why didn't it I bring it back, because I refuse to waste 40 minutes of my life traveling through heavy traffic and pouring rain for substandard service.

I’m visiting the area and decided to treat myself to a chippy tea. I looked on the price list and saw that chilli and chips were on offer at £3.95! I thought “I’m having some of that”. At my local chippy it’s more than double the price. It took a while to cook because it wasn’t a usual item which people were ordering. It was a Friday so it was quite busy and a heck of a lot of fish were being freshly cooked. The owner and the lady helping him were really busy but they still had the ability to talk to me whilst putting my order together. I explained that I was just visiting the area and asked where I could find certain places. They were both more than helpful. Got my tea home and it was DELICIOUS! Thank you for a tasty tea. I cannot believe the prices you are charging, definitely good value for money.

The delivery service was fine . We order at least once a week, however today the bread used for both sandwiches was stale, we had to bin both, such a shame as normally the food as been ok .

The best takeaway I have had the food was gorgeous delivery was great timing

Lovely kebab and pizza ordered from here, not seen a separate salad served in a tupperware box for kebabs before but a great idea for takeaway kebabs to prevent sogginess. Pizza was well cooked and the doner kebab well prepared and very tasty. I journeyed from Hartington to pick this up so a 20ish mile round trip. Recommended!

It was ok. But for the price I was expecting more. Small portions, and just expensive for what we got. Fish was fairly fresh, and the chips wasn’t bad

Please explain this to whoever was serving on the counter in Glossop yesterday lunch time. He asked me to pay extra for a bottle of water. when the egg sandwich I bought was on a shelf clearly labled as part of a sandwich deal "What is included in Greggs sandwich deal? Sandwich deal includes any selected cold sandwich and any cold drink or any regular hot drink. Speciality hot drink upgrade is from 50p extra and upgrade to a large hot drink is from 50p extra. Excludes soup"
