Had food from here in the past and was ok. Food tonight was awful and hours later I still can't get rid of the disgusting taste. Chips were hard, curry sauce was tasteless and overcooked battered sausage I won't be going back

Been here a few times now and its beenbeautiful every time . Freshly cooked , servers lovley good size and good price , will defo be back

Segunda visita a esta tienda de pescado y patatas fritas y la comida fue sin duda una mejora desde mi primera experiencia. El eglefino y el bacalao era increíble, las patatas fritas eran muy agradables también, no grasosa en comparación con otros lugares. También tenía un pastel de pescado que era muy sabroso. Gracias propietario de Sea Salt por tomar en cuenta mis comentarios anteriores.

Fabuloso pescado fresco y patatas fritas. El mejor de la ciudad. Aún no he probado la pizza, pero la masa está recién cocinada y es muy recomendable.

We were met by holly who was amazing and very professional at her job she was very efficient with taking my order she turned round the food very quick which I couldn’t fault would 100% recommended

Despite living in the area for the best part of 20yrs, I'd never used this Takeaway before as it's a little out of the way. However, I recently found myself close by & thought I'd give it a try and I'm glad I did. Despite it being the Summer Hols & them having numerous orders already on the go, I walked in, placed my order and walked out with my food in under 20mins! And the food was amazing, well cooked, still hot after I got home 30mins later, good portion sizes and the prices were slightly cheaper than our usual takeaway. I'll definitely be back!!

New to the area so thought I'd give them a go, safe to say I will never be back! All the food was cold and they messed my order up. So I rang up and got left on the phone so I went back to get a refund as I was not happy with anything and was met with a rude, angry and argumentative man that wouldn't give me my refund and then lied and tried to be intimidating. In future I will be going to one of the other two across the road. All I wanted was a refund or apology as mistakes do happen but I was very shocked at the manner of the man in the shop and will not be returning.

Entró hoy para un almuerzo rápido alrededor de las 12 ish. Probé el bisonte de raison y canela con una taza de té y para mi primera visita fue uno de los mejores bagels que he probado. El té no era nada especial, muy similar a lo que obtienes en otro lugar, pero el personal era muy agradable. Siendo nuevo en el área, definitivamente volvería a visitar.

Absolutely disgusting!! Chips soggy with grease and dark brown, obviously last nights warmed up, not edible!! Battered sausage was dripping with oil, as with the chips the bin has been fed!! Never again!! The two staff working were more interested in chatting to the blokes! It lives up to name ' one star baz's grease emporium ' 🤢

We were visiting our daughter and new grandchild in Stroud, and had never used Simpsons before !! With 3 vegetarians in the family and one fish lover, we have been missing a trick ! Absolutely brilliant fish and chips. Proper beautiful white cod, perfectly cooked in excellent batter and some of the best chips we have ever had !! As for the vegetarians the options are excellent , from lovely battered halloumi , to Tofu and even “Frickles”, which I learned were deep fried battered strips of pickle !!! The gravy, curry sauce and mushy peas are all vegetarian as well !! Absolutely brilliant, food , excellent customer service and just really nice people !! P.S : If you are reading this, try putting deep fried mushrooms on the menu !! We used to have these as a big bag in Bourton-on-the-Water …….I’m sure you won’t regret it !!! Well done Simpsons !!

Was sooo excited for the fish and chips but I was sadly disappointed. Found so many hairs in both of our chips!!!!! And they added no salt and vinegar when we had asked for it. Asked for a still water and we got sparkling when we realised I took it back and they said sorry I should have checked before I left. My partner has been before and said they have changed massively and used to be nice!!! I have blonde hair and my partner brown and these hairs were jet black!!

Pedido en uber eats Esperé 45 minutos para obtener mi comida y luego el conductor solo me dio una bebida diciendo que eso es lo que obtuvo cuando pedí la comida completa.

Visited today (11/11/2023). The flavoured lattes were disgusting and flavourless. We requested more syrup in one of the lattes due to the lack of taste but the staff were unaccommodating and acted as if it was a big task. The white chocolate and raspberry cookie was awful. It was hard and again lacked flavour. The other cookie which was hazelnut and chocolate (I believe) was better but still quite disappointing. Overall a terrible visit and would not recommend nor go again.

£9.45 for chips and pie and small portions seems very expensive it's 5.60 for a pie and 3 pounds plus for chips see picture below to see size of portion
