Best kebab house around, always lovely food

31st Dec. 2024 - our order was 4 large chicken kabab's, the chicken was dry and tough, the pitta bread was hard at the edges, the only decent part of the order was the salad. Staff were unwelcoming and the kababs were overpriced. Upsetting because we live locally and have eaten there before and the food was lovely. We won't be returning.

The food they did in a hurry was badly sewn the chicken, and they tried to hide the chicken with chips on top, other restaurants are better, I am very disappointed with the service today...

Well delivered before time, however disappointing as only recieved 1nan bad with my combination kebab and menu describes 2. The lamb had hard grizzle init so was inedible. Apart from that everything else was delicious.

I had an awful experience at Slim Chickens in the Trafford Centre around 19:40. The staff completely ignored me and another driver waiting to be served, despite us standing right there for a long time. We had to call them multiple times just to get their attention, which is unacceptable. One staff member in particular (with black hair and a heavier build) seemed completely uninterested in helping. The lack of professionalism and customer service was shocking. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if this is how they treat their customers.

Pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews. Wait time in shop was approx 20mins, food was fresh and hot, we enjoyed ‘proper’ cod and chips. Large chips was plenty for two adults and a child to share.

Hussain, the manager, is incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. On Friday, 27th December 2024, I visited this branch and accidentally spilled my coffee, creating quite a mess. Hussain immediately stepped in, handled the situation calmly, cleaned up efficiently, and even offered me a free refill. What could have been an embarrassing moment turned into a heartwarming experience, thanks to Hussain’s exceptional service. This memory has reinforced my love for Pret as my favorite brand. Thank you, Hussain, for turning a small disaster into such a positive experience!

Me and the Mrs had a nice dinner for two which had left overs for £20 and you don't get that often these days fantastic

The cafe is very dated, looks very used and needs bit of love.
