The best restaurants serving Greek food in England

This is not a posh restaurant, the seating was old wooden chairs/bench seats paired with old wooden tables. However the seats were very comfortable. In some ways this adds to the charm of the restaurant, which has a nice cosy atmosphere. A nice thing was that there was reasonable space in-between tables, and not like so many other restaurants where you feel the people on the next table are sitting at your table as they are so close. Service was quick and friendly, the food was very enjoyable, and the Prosecco was reasonable priced for Covent Garden, at £32 a bottle. This is a very nice place to eat with good service and reasonable prices.

Fantastic little greek, amazing portion sizes for the cost. Best Baklava I've ever had - and a bargain at the price. Fresh cooked and quickly served. Neat little seating area

We were booked here for our works Christmas do in December 2024. I was looking forward to it as from previous visits I knew the food would be good and plentiful. Unfortunately the opposite was true, portions were very small, one nugget size piece of swordfish per person, one slice of halloumi, dry over cooked chicken, it was certainly not what I was expecting, perhaps too many large parties for the kitchen to deal with and my colleagues felt the same. The manager was quite rude at points too so perhaps again don't book numbers you cant handle! The dance floor (when it was eventually cleared of tables) was fun, although the play list needs some work!! Unfortunately we wont be returning next Christmas thou.

(El hombre capital lo siento El hombre de la ciudad capital) No fueron las serpientes las que nos interrumpieron, sino un valiente gerente de * El Ángel * mientras que todos los clientes fueron a * Turnins * solo para dar grandes comentarios a * Roka * con increíble / luz y decoratins - soluciones /. Vale la pena mirar de nuevo hacia Newcastle City como COTINGHAM está ligeramente sobrevalorado especialmente si No está en el tuyo pero Casi En tu Irlandés y Turco listas temporales de vecinos. No tenemos Restaurantes CHIPRIOTAS decentes nosotros (kibris uno . . . eah) ?

Ordered the other day through uber eats and forgot to leave a review. 10/10 honestly outstanding, the chips for goodness sake were some of the best I have ever had in my life. Perfectly fried and crunchy but fluffy potatoey goodness in the middle. No idea how they do it Chicken and pork both super tasty and fresh, halloumi also cooked to perfection. I live about 15 mins from the shop and everything was piping hot. Please keep up the great service!

Always giving out the most perfect food, food quality is very good, delivery time is always early and fast, food always hot too which is a bonus. Always go above and beyond to perfection for there customers. Absolutely love this restaurant will not go anywhere else 😀 very friendly owner and staff. Would highly recommend to everyone 👍 brilliant job guys keep it up!!!

Like your sitting in your friends dining room. We had an absolutely lovely meal. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients and subtlety of flavours. Service incredibly friendly and attentive.

Booked during restaurant week with group of friends, everyone dissapointed with their starters and mains lots of food left on plates ! Not authentic proper greek food and not enjoyed. Overpriced for what you get on your plate and we will not be going back so wouldn't recommend if its greek food your wanting.

Great, good, service all at a nice price. The staff really wanted to give a good Greek food experience, of which they done well. Its really worth trying out.

Following a meal at Stavros I have finally found where the leak in my toilet is coming from. A hairline crack in the rim of the bowl, would have never noticed it without spending an entire night with my head down the carsey. Mind you not like I can afford to fix it after the worlds most expensive meat and rice. Thanks Stavros. Horrific.

A little peeved that at 20.30 on a Friday night asking for food only to be told that the kitchen has closed down for the night !!! I don't understand why they would do this at all! On their Web page it says 21.00 they close , so why not say you are wasting your time coming at 20.30 as we have closed the kitchen down fgs!!!

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but food was excellent- pretty much the same as you would get at a restaurant! Great quality, good portions and great service door to door. First time customer and will be back! 👍

Excellent small Greek restaurant in arches undef railway, very close to the station. Very friendly service. Traditional Greek dishes which are very tasty and nicely presented.
