Booked for Dinner before the Rugby. After an hour and a half all we had eaten was some very average poppadoms. (The pickle tray was well below par) Having ordered our mains we waited for 45 minutes and told the waiter that we had to go to the game soon. We were promised 10 minutes.....this came and went, so we paid for our drinks and left. Lots of other customers were in the same position. Looks like they had booked in too many tables. We left very unhappy and hungry.

The food was really nice as usual. But I went here on Friday, I walked in, it was empty. A man came over to the door ,I asked if they were open. He shouted well obviously the doors are open. He asked if I was eating in I said yes. He gave me a menu. I asked for a gluten free menu. He threw the origina menu across the table . I felt very intimidated by him. It was only me and him on the restaurant floor. I tried to make conversation to not make more of am atmosphere. A few minutes later a female staff member came in. She was very nice.

Good menu choices, food was hot, well presented and very nice. You can choose from the main menu or they do 2 main meals for 12.50 and staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely go again at some point.

Never had reason to write a review for this place but the attitude and the service was appalling. I ordered plain fried mogo chips. Got home and eagerly opened the container and found that the chips I received were either refried several times and very greasy or the oil they used had been used for frying other food. I took the mogo back, they said they would fry another portion for me. It came back and was the same! They then told me they use that oil all day long for everything they fry anything. I asked for a refund which they refused to give me and the girls serving were very loud and were very threatening, I felt intimidated.

First time that I have been to Kayal in Leicester. Tried Kayal in Leamington recently and it was the best Indian food I have ever had. Kayal Leicester was every bit as good. Wonderfully flavoured and cooked food. Not too oily, not crazy spicy, just a perfect blend of flavours and textures and interestingly different dishes, not just run-of-the-mill Indian.

This place wasn't at all like we thought it was going to be. It was absolutely shocking . Service was Terrible and horrific . Portions are way too small for the price of the meals.Items are incorrectly described . No lamb in the whole joint only mutton from the stone age . Don't waste your money. Their is far better places in the midlands.

Absolute love this little spot! The food is so fresh and clean, which i find really hard when eating vegan. Plus they sell oatly oat milk which is a win win! Love it

Could be better, flavour is good. Portions are okay. Prices are not great. Cheaper comparable places close by.
