I have just moved to the area and thought I'd check out the local curry place. Very prompt service. I ordered Chicken bhuna, peschwari nan and pilau rice! It was all so tasty!! Will definitely be back! Thank you!

The Monsoon restaurant (Rochford) is consistently the best Indian in Essex for me and my extended family. Not only is the food outstanding the cost too is minimal in my humble opinion. 5*

Ordered food tonight no delivery and they won’t answer phone have taken my money. I even drove there but you cannot access shop as in an arcade. I noticed there is another review tonight with exactly the same complaint

Originally called up for an early table, but understandably none available NYE at short notice. When my husband arrived to collect he said the restaurant was empty and there were more people waiting for takeaways than eating in the restaurant. Husband arrived home very quickly after with the food, daughter’s main missing along with a missing naan bread. Everything else Luke warm. Called up to advise food was missing and I was told driving was heading our way and they would drop it in. Did try to tell the guy on the phone the rest of it was already cold but he was clearly preoccupied within the restaurant. Stood around like lemons waiting for the rest of our food, remainder turned up also cold. So had to microwave the lot. 👍👍 First time ordering from here after moving to the area, unfortunately I doubt we will rush back.

I phoned an order through and collected my order, changed and added things in as requested this was no trouble at all. Very welcoming on arrival to collect all staff I came across said hello and asked how I was. Amazing food as always, I'm a regular here. Always add and change things when asked, nothing is never to much trouble for them. They go above and beyond when eating in. Always feel welcome, music playing, amazing service and always talk and check everything is OK. All staff are polite and are around if anything is needed. Best Indian takeaway and restaurant by far I would never go anywhere else. Can't wait to go tomorrow night with the girls for my birthday. - phoned last week to pre book a table for 10 and this was no problem or trouble at all.

It wasn’t very warm and a lot of water! The food okay once we bailed out the water. We ate it but wouldn’t return unfortunately.
