The food was delicious and authentic. Chef Kumar is an amazing chef and person. He cooked the food with love and passion. We never tasted such yummy food in years outside of my home country even staying 20+ years in USA. And Mr. Mohan was so nice, kind and generous in his service. I would definitely recommend and visit “The Curry Room” on my next visit. Thank you again Chef Kumar keeping the authenticity and integrity of the foods.

Mi pareja y yo hemos estado viniendo aquí durante el último año y aunque nos estamos alejando de la zona, tuvimos tanta suerte de tener un restaurante tan maravilloso cerca de donde vivíamos. Dhaba 49 es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos en la ciudad - el personal es hospitalario, amable y eficiente, la comida es absolutamente deliciosa y los precios son fantásticos para los estándares de Londres. Si usted es local de la zona o está buscando una comida encantadora con sus amigos, familia o pareja, por favor apoye a negocios como este. Se ejecuta con amor, pasión y compromiso con la calidad. Almorzamos en equipo en Navidad en Jikoni. Tristemente nos fuimos todos muy decepcionados. El chef obviamente se enorgulleció poco de la comida y cómo se servía. Todos los platos estaban pre-preparados, y nada estaba muy caliente. Los entrantes llegaron tan pronto como nos pusimos en marcha, y algunos fueron servidos directamente desde la nevera - mi burrata estaba fría. Incluso las gambas eran bastante tibias. Nada tenía mucho sabor. El camarero recogía platos tan pronto como alguien terminaba, en lugar de esperar a que todos completaran sus entrantes antes de despejar la mesa. Peor aún -mientras comían la comida principal, a los que terminaban primero se les quitaban los platos inmediatamente y se les traían menús del desierto (mientras que algunos otros seguían comiendo su comida principal (! ) ). We had our wedding reception at Hankies and it was absolutely fantastic. The food, the atmosphere and the service all exceeded our expectations and our guests were raving about the food long after the event. A special thank you to Florian who was wonderful to work with – he was extremely responsive, reassured us that everything was in hand and delivered the most memorable event for us. We could not recommend Hankies and the team enough!

Really nice chicken roti and friendly service

While visiting London, my son had a craving for Indian food and he read reviews, don't know where of Chourangi nexto to Marble Arch and made his pick and dinner it was. Incredible food to the point where I have never tasted anything like we had at the restaurant. Am including a picture so you can get an idea of what we had. I don't have more words than to recomend the Chourangi and their Bengali cusine.

What a great experience.. We are here with my family ( also two grand kids 5 year old and 8 months) from East coast USA. The moment we entered to the restaurant and till the end, the entire staff’s hospitality was so remarkable. Coming from the hospitality industry, I have appreciated that most. The food and drinks are excellent. I would stringy recommend to visit them.

This place is run by crooks. Don’t give them your credit card information because they will charge you even if you don’t eat there. I made a reservation and the night before my time slot I got a flight cancellation and I wasn’t able to get to London on time for the booking. So following the instructions on their confirmation email, I wasn’t supposed to call but to an email. I explained the situation on the email, didn’t get a response and they charged me 70 pounds (US$100) on the credit card they requested for the reservation. This is abusive and criminal. These people are crooks!

Fantastiskt god mat och trevlig atmosfär. Relativt billigt för att vara i London och det fanns även mat passande kräsna barn i samma fin kvalitet som den indiska menyn

I really like this Indian restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. We tried two special Thalis: Seafood Thali and Non-Vegetarian Thali. The Seafood Thali was amazing. The Fish Recheado, grilled sea bass with Goan spices, was flavorful and juicy, absorbing the rich spices during grilling. The Fish Curry was delicious and paired well with Saag Paneer, Dal Tadka, steamed rice, Raita, and Paratha. Each bite was a burst of flavors. For dessert, we had Anjeer Kheer, a sweet and smooth fig rice pudding. The Non-Vegetarian Thali was also delightful. It came with chicken served with fresh Kachumber salad and mint chutney, adding a refreshing taste. The Chicken Tikka Masala had tender chicken chunks in a spicy tomato sauce, pairing nicely with Saag Paneer, spiced lentils, steamed rice, Raita, and Paratha. Dessert was again Anjeer Kheer. The drinks were excellent too. I recommend the Mango and Date Lassi, a sweet treat that was especially enjoyable after my recent trip to Egypt, where these fruits are common. Each lunch Thali costs just over £20, which is quite reasonable for Mayfair. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience tasty Indian cuisine.

Our dinner was outstanding - really superior Indian cuisine. The owner and cook were also very friendly, even keeping the restaurant open longer for us. Highly recommend the place.

La luz de la vieja luz de la India ha ido fuera después de muchos años. Su ubicación es ahora ocupado por un nuevo restaurante tailandés - Nuwa 0208 127 3900 que también hacer para llevar comida. En una primera visita parece que sirven comida muy buena pero tiene servicio variable. Una de nuestra mesa tuvimos que esperar unos 30 minutos para sus principales. El restaurante se disculpó y no cobran por este tema.
