The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

Yet again an outstanding Madras -great value for money - £17.45 we had shammi kebab for starters, followed by madras and egg fried rice and chips, with Keema naan bread with cheese, me and my husband split it and it was more than enough! Best Indian Restaurant in Tamworth - with polite staff who go above and beyond! We don’t eat anywhere else!

Went here New Year’s Eve for the first time we both loved the service and food was amazing… looking forward to go back again thanks again jon &Vicky

Had my nieces 18th birthday for 20 people, excellent food and service from start to finish.

Great tasting food along with exceptional service. Food tasted fresh and very well flavored and staff were friendly and welcoming. Will be back for sure!

Xmas day but issues included. Waiting for a table 1/2 hr after reservation time. Waiting 1.5 hrs for mains. Getting a sweet 3 hrs after sitting down and waiting 1/2 hr for the bill. Simply could not cope with a full restaurant on a very important day. Shane really 🤔

The Chilli paneer is to die for. I’m obsessed!! Everytime I come here, I order it. Everything tastes high quality and delicious. Will always be my favourite restaurant for curries!!

India Cottage is the only Indian Restaurant I have used (hundreds in 55 yrs) where the chicken used in their curries is in fact fresh chicken and not the plastic chicken with a liver like texture you get from other Indian Restaurants. In addition to this the curry was excellent.

Chicken was cut in big chunks and not very tender unfortunately . People ordering at desk so they were ages taking out order

Had a fantastic meal here for my sisters 70 th birthday (around 30 people including children) . The service was brilliant and the food so delicious. The price was great too. Highly recommended

I've got takeaway here numerous times now and have sufficient experience to leave a comprehensive review. Korma 9/10 Tikka Masala 8/10 Rogan Josh 4/10 (no spice whatsoever) Pathia 3/10 (Pathia is meant to be hot sweet and sour and sadly theirs is very sweet with no heat.) Jalfrezi 2/10 (again no spice and weird flavours) Overall I expected a lot better from based on the high prices they charge. The curries overall are disappointing (unless you only love mild creamy ones.)
