Went there was told family seating up stairs only to be told no sitting up stairs sit in front of the open kitchen full men watching and the owner was rude about it so we walked out went to abbeydale road . Also 2 staff started fighting while we sat up stairs absolutely disgusting behaviour! Won't go to be treated like this ! Lie about the family seating ... The owner is a Muslim told me it was fine sitting in front of men with wife ! He's on something was very agresive about it ! Family seating up stairs closed due to not being busy ! So don’t expect it !

Beautiful fresh food! Quick service and friendly faces every time I visit. Huge selection of dishes for vegetarians. I went for the Bombay Naga vegetables which came piping hot!

Had our Xmas meal for the first time. Had used previously and always pleased with the food and the service you get. From that point of view we were not disappointed. However, Chutney need to review their booking and table management better. On arrival for 3:30 booking, previous bookings were still there and being served food. All those with a 3:30 booking had to wait either outside or in the tiny reception area. It was a mess!! At this stage I was ready to give a 1 star rating, however once sat down the food was good and the service was very attentive. They managed to turn it round. Chutney need to learn and hopefully next year will not be the same.

Just ordered the new stir fry kebab and it is by far the best kebab I have ever had, highly recommended

Quick, friendly delivery; great food.

Popped in for a takeout and was very quick, food was good, very hot madras sauce and beautifully tender lamb, I don't know if I was misheard when ordering or if the kitchen got it wrong but I asked for a mushroom baji but received mushroom rice but was nice anyway and my garlic nan was decent. I was warned before ordering the menu prices were out of date and it would be a little more than on the menu but was still reasonably priced so didn't mind. Staff were very friendly and polite. Shame about the cheesy pop music playing in the restaurant would be nice if they played some modern Bangra.

We have ordered from here before and the food was ok . Tonight the food wasn’t good at all Cheap fatty chicken and lamb pretty tasteless. Couldn’t even get the poppadoms right (soft and burnt ) Reheated I suspect . Complete waste of money

Tuvimos la mejor cena india en Acbar's en Sheffield. Siempre hemos sabido que había excelentes restaurantes indios en la mayoría de los pueblos y ciudades ingleses, y esto no decepcionó. Todo estaba delicioso, recién hecho, auténtico, y con la cantidad justa de especias. El servicio fue excepcional. Nuestro watier, Saif nos ayudó a seleccionar los mejores artículos del menú, no trató de "sobrevender" en demasiada comida. Terminó con la combinación correcta de platos, sabores, texturas para hacer una buena comida. Saif y sus colegas trabajaron a la perfección para un servicio muy profesional. La decoración y el ambiente era muy elegante, con clase, acogedor. Ojalá tuviéramos Acbar donde vivimos. ¡Sería habitual!

We moved to the area 5 weeks ago and have already been here twice as the food is so good. Staff are great, very accommodating to all our spicy needs. Lamb and chicken are cooked so well, and the starters have been excellent too. Big, clean restaurant, very comfortable.

Puede parecer un poco extraño, pero la comida es muy buena. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente el Tarka Dal, Jelfrazi, Paratha podría continuar. Mi única pequeña reserva es que no hay mucho pollo en algunos de los platos, pero los sabores son visibles.

Absolutely fantastic food, Will definitely order again.

Driving back to the hotel in Sheffield, stopped off at Mr Khan's for a nice cheap takeaway Kebab in Attercliffe. £4 for a kebab box with fries and salad - very filling and well cooked. Friendly helpful staff - though English is a little broken. Seemed to be popular with locals!
