The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Whilst the food was good like a previous review we waited for ages, over an hour for 4 dishes. Constantly had to try and get attention of waiting staff too which was incredibly frustrating, especially when they couldn't get our drinks order right. Unfortunately despite living local we won't return.

Al sentarnos con los clientes, pedimos bebidas Cobra. Ambos se vinieron abajo, dos veces. Al quejarnos, nos juraron y nos dijeron que sacáramos la F***. Lo hicimos y nunca volveremos de nuevo. Cobra tiene burbujas, la tuya no, lo que no es un buen producto o el mejor servicio: tuviste un mal día y perdiste la costumbre. Estaban vacíos, lo que dice mucho... Buena suerte con su servicio al cliente...

Poor delivery man seemed rushed

From arrival to departure our Christmas Day dinner choice was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, even down to my daughters request to have chicken nuggets and chips 🤣 Our whole families meal was absolutely perfect, considering how busy the restaurant was it surpassed our expectations. We cannot wait to return and enjoy the delicious food and impeccable hospitality again, so much so that we have pre ordered for our NYE dinner 👌 Khans keep doing what you do as you are all amazing, from our family to yours a massive thank you 🙏🏽 🥰

Always welcoming, fabulous food, great service and comfortable surroundings. We also often have take away delivered from here…delicious!

We got a takeaway over the weekend with family and used the delivery. The food was hot and very tasty when it arrived. We all enjoyed the Indian and I would recommend this place to visit if in the area

Ordered online. Delivered in less than a hour. Phone me ten minutes before it was delivered to reception at caravan park. Great food, well cooked, good price. Shour out for delivery driver, she was spot on with timing.

Very rude, long story short , delivery was 40 mins late so I phoned to be told the driver has been twice n phoned twice n no answer, I said our dog hasn't barked so no one has been here, I said refund me then but he said no either iv got to collect or wait 20 mins or so I said I would wait, surprise when the lady rang n knocked the door our dog barked yo let us know, I said did you hear him she said yes but it wasn't her that had been before, I shown her my phone n surprise no one had called so someone was lying, I will not be using this place again as he was out of order n wouldn't hear what I was saying ,the driver said she would say about our dog n looked at my phone, myself n husband said we want the manager /owner to phone us and apologise but no one did,curry was lovely but customer service of how you speak to your customers needs working on.

First time visit on NYE. Wonderful restaurant, clean and the staff were very welcoming. Food was very good. Even though it was understandably busy this did not not disappoint. I look forward to visiting again.

Mo was very nice guy in Germany we say ice fuzzi! The service was great and the food was very delightful. We also enjoyed the different wall designs! Would come again

Mi pareja y yo hemos estado viniendo aquí durante el último año y aunque nos estamos alejando de la zona, tuvimos tanta suerte de tener un restaurante tan maravilloso cerca de donde vivíamos. Dhaba 49 es uno de nuestros lugares favoritos en la ciudad - el personal es hospitalario, amable y eficiente, la comida es absolutamente deliciosa y los precios son fantásticos para los estándares de Londres. Si usted es local de la zona o está buscando una comida encantadora con sus amigos, familia o pareja, por favor apoye a negocios como este. Se ejecuta con amor, pasión y compromiso con la calidad. Excellent restaurant quality food,always hot and never gives me indigestion unlike other places… our go to place for Indian food.

Not recommended at all Unfortunately, my recent visit to this restaurant was disappointing and uncomfortable due to the unprofessional behavior of one of the staff members. From the moment we entered, he seemed displeased and unwelcoming, speaking to us in a dismissive and disrespectful manner, particularly because we were Indian customers. He claimed to be the Indian chef cum manager and, at one point, even suggested we come into the kitchen to cook ourselves, which felt insulting and completely uncalled for. We believe every guest should be treated with respect, regardless of background, and it’s disheartening to encounter such an attitude in a service environment. I hope the management addresses this behavior to create a more inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

This restaurant ticks every box! Clean/attentive and friendly staff/excellent cuisine (we are vegetarians)/bae for money. Highly recommend.
