Incredible evening here. The food was lovely, but what set it apart from so many other places, was the service. The owner was really friendly and welcoming, and all the waitors / waitresses that served us were top notch. We loved the attention to detail as well as all the little extras offered at the end. Thank you. We will be back soon!!

I have been visiting this restaurant for 30 years and Joseph and his team have always been brilliant. I always had “balti chicken tikka rognee saucy” which isn’t on the menu. Always perfect. Sadly Joseph has retired and sold up so I won’t be able to go back to my fave restaurant. It’s now closed. I want to wish Joe and his team all the best. Martin F

We turned up to get our pre-booked table and the staff were unwelcoming and didn’t smile. I ordered a Carlsberg and got a Cobra and when I queried it, I was told they didn’t have any even though it was on the menu. We ordered starters which turned up luke warm. The main course was ok but nothing to write home about. My wife had the lamb achari, which she said didn’t have much flavour. I had the lamb malayan and if it wasn’t for the pineapple in it, it would’ve been completely bland. The staff need to show they are bothered about their customers and perhaps smile a bit more. The restaurant was just over half full and there was very little atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this restaurant. The only plus side is that they forgot to charge us for the drink each we had. They never asked if we wanted another drink even though our glasses were empty half way through the starters.

We ordered a pre-Christmas takeaway, first time visitors! It was delicious! The sag aloo is really good. The teen loved the korma and said it was the best they’d had for ages. We loved the paneer and the dupiaza. A lovely meal, we’ll definitely order again!

Great place for a curry with the (old) lads. Always top notch! Welcoming staff, amazing curry great beer what more do you need!

This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint. Cannot fault this place. Great food. Great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Restaurant is no longer trading! Looking forward to visiting after having read the reviews so was very disappointed to see an estate agent’s. sign outside the premises when I was staying in Wantage on 19th July.

Everything you need from a quality Indian restaurant: delicious fresh food, incredibly friendly staff, great value. I’ve eaten in and had takeaway, on this occasion it was takeaway and they even gave me a free beer whilst I waited. 100% recommend.

Visited with a group of friends on a Saturday night, restaurant was very busy but service and Food as good as always, Best Indian and all friends was very happy with food and service. recommend the Lam Bombay and Sag Paneer it was great.

I ate alone as had just finished work on a Saturday. Firstly the positives: I had a tasty Lamb Rogan Josh, with freshly prepared rice & a light Nan bread. The pops & dips we’re good although I would have liked some chopped onions. The draught kingfisher was also v good. The only negative is they do not offer a discount off the menu prices for collecting a take away. Their competitors do offer min 10% off if you collect. I found the staff friendly and attentive.

So after 4 hours waiting for a delivery we went to bed. They wouldn’t answer the phone or messages and didn’t bother to get in touch. Apparently (according to my neighbour) the food did arrive 5.5 hours after ordering.

The waiter was miserable, just wanted more drink asked about 7 times, the food came it was very poor quality, my colleagues meal was forgotten, I had Tandori mixed grill, woke up this morning very upset tummy! Had two popadoms & Main as order £ £28 each, ripped off! don't go there it was freezing in the restaurant! This is the worse indian food I have ever had!
