The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Excellent service and delicious food - will definitely eat here again when we visit Cleethorpes. The price is reasonable too.

While visiting London, my son had a craving for Indian food and he read reviews, don't know where of Chourangi nexto to Marble Arch and made his pick and dinner it was. Incredible food to the point where I have never tasted anything like we had at the restaurant. Am including a picture so you can get an idea of what we had. I don't have more words than to recomend the Chourangi and their Bengali cusine.

My son recently moved to this area, we ve has two takeaway s great prices food excellent friendly smart staff definitely would use again.

Restaurant was dead, very much like the decor. Broken woodwork, old decoration, threadbare carpet and broken toilet seat. In fairness the food was quite good but with no atmosphere and dilapidated infrastructure it was an underwhelming experience. Its been there over 40 years and it shows. I wouldn't go back and if asked would not recommend. Do yourself a favour and order a pizza from over the road.

Lovely food served by gentle people. I highly recommend the food! The furniture is basic but comfortable Had a delicious Mango Lassi and Vegetable biriani Go!

Really not you're standard chicken tikka, lacked sweetness and spice, did try to rectify though just unfortunately not successful, starter's were good and so was customer service so I would perhaps try again

Been twice now and have not been disappointed food was absolutely beautiful new staff so friendly .it was the Jewel but now it is called the Royal, give it a go you will surprised

I've been to the Kolam many times over the years, and I've yet to have a bad meal. It's a more traditional type of Indian restaurant and family-run, and the service is always very friendly and helpful.

This restaurant in the heart of Crawley town centre is great! The portions are brilliant and the food is so authentic- it's full of flavour! I highly recommend eating at this restaurant!

Sin embargo, estaba un poco decepcionado de probar el Vadu Pav (bola de patata especiada con masa ligera y chutney verde servido en un bollo), ya que sabía bastante soso. La textura era de solo puré de patatas con una capa suave , sin una capa crujiente a ella, y no muy especiado en absoluto . El bollo sabía como un pastel de pan de supermercado. No hay evidencia de chutney verde y la ofrenda de ensalada fue unos trozos de zanahorias ralladas y col blanca. ¡Todo sabía un poco mal! Por su descripción esperaba que fuera similar al petisse pero lamentablemente no. El servicio fue rápido y el personal encantador, así que puede probar algo diferente la próxima vez.

Wow friends took us here as they raved about it - I could have cried the food was beyond amazing - the lamb was beyond fabulous The service was brilliant the staff are so kind and helpful and the ambience of the restaurant was first class - one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
