Finishing with a lovely end to the New Years celebration at Gurkha Kitchen, will definitely be here again. And again. And again.

Food came half an hour late. The chips were absolutely disgusting. We will never go to this place again.

This review is for a take away only, had a stunning Chicken Tandoori balti, however it came in a small plastic container and wasn't even full, also no complimentary poppadoms or salad as all other restaurants in Coleshill do.Thats why only 3 star

Good food, uniquely designed flavors in different dishes. Out of the dishes we liked the prawn the best. Atmosphere is a bit loud. If you are expecting spicy curry, this would not be the place for spicy food lovers. Service was great! Very knowledgeable server and fast.

Sawiyah needs a pay rise. She was absolutely brilliant. A credit to shimlas.

I ordered a chicken biryani and it arrived there was 1 tiny piece of chicken there was an offer for £15 for biryani my nephew and daughter shared the man came and said sharing food is not allowed I also order a karahi and it didn't arrive my first time experience was horrible never coming here again

The meat (chicken) content has definitely gone down in recent months - replaced by more sauce!

Don't go here if you're vegetarian, they served me meat samosas rather than vegetarian. They may have been apologetic, however this kind of mistake should never have been made in the first place, this is the first time in over 20 years that I've been served meat with the other time being provided with Lamb Mousaka in Greece in 2004. The paneer curry I ordered for main was okay but I would suggest if you have specific dietary requirements you avoid here. For full disclosure, they offered me the starter for free following the mistake after I had suggested that just replacing the samosas for no extra charge wasn't good enough. In hindsight I would have walked out at that point but I was starving and couldn't be bothered to try and find another place.

We had an amazing experience which was mainly due to our server Courtney C, who was kind, patient and friendly! She took the time to help us and held the right amount of conversation. Food was delicious, different to your regular Indian Restaurant. Would highly recommend 👍

Went here on Sunday evening. Great food, great music and great service.
