The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

This is about the 4th takeaway we've had from Josh Spice, food is superb, delivery on time and hot. Definitely a favourite with us.

A new discovery to us during lockdown. They have a fascinating menu with lots of new and exciting dishes to try. My favourite is Nagariya Chicken but I can highly recommend the mince meat and chicken dish called Gurkhas Revenge! and no it doesn't come back to bite you in the morning. One thing to point out is there are no vegetarian options on the 'Just Eat' menu;their preferred method of on-line ordering. However, when I phoned the take-away they do have vegetarian options so check direct if that's your thing. Delivery is spot on. Each time I have asked for a Sat night delivery for 7.15pm it has arrived within 10 minutes.....amazing! Well worth a try.

Food was very tasty and well prepared similar to what one would expect in Mumbai / India. The owner Prashant is a very good person who looks after the customers and provides excellent service. We've ordered takeaway / delivery a few times and he was attentive to the customisation requests every single time. Once we placed our order close to the restaurant closing time however Prashant still took the order despite it meaning that he'd have to stay an hour post the closing time to complete the order. Worth a try !

Got a fresh cream cake for Eid yesterday - fresh and delicious!!! All I can say is I'll never be going to the other place down the road, ever!

I have just found out that this Indian has the same chef that Ashoka had😎😎👍, this is fabulous as I thought Doncaster had lost its best Indian chef! So I couldn’t wait to order from here. The food was just as fabulous as ever. I had the Jangli Mirch and my wife had the Chicken Tika masala. So my Jangli was so tasty full of spices not greasy and was not too hot. (I will ask for it to be hotter,chilli hotter next time as I love really hot curry). My wife’s tika was amazing too silky smooth with lovely subtle spices. This is by far the best Indian food I’ve had for a while. I’m sure whatever you order from here you won’t be disappointed and probably won’t eat anywhere else. HAPPYDAYS.

Tried this restaurant tonight never used before, what can I say it was bloody lovely, I have to say this was the best Indian I have tasted in a long time. Will definitely be using this restaurant again ...

Delightful lunch with Bhaghee Kakhee, brought over some esteemed important guests from Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Tesla, Facebook and V.B & Sons. Professional service and high quality food prepared by ManjulaBen, KantaBen, SantaBen and KhimjiBhai. It was made all the more enjoyable as Shree NahrendraBhai joined us for this meal to discuss the global expansion of the Meera’s brand. The Emerald chicken is outstandingly good, but everything we've tried is a delight. The biryanis are flavourful and simply amazing. With every order we've placed, we've had a free taste of other items off the menu and it never disappoints. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Massala Chai- so tasty and flavoursome with spices and aromatics- not to milky and they pour it correctly!Friendly server.

Always get slices of cakes from here and the staff are always friendly too! Great prices too for a slice!

Doesn’t look much from the outside, same for the decor, but food was amazing!! So much nicer than the curry house we’ve been using for years! Will definitely return!!

Called the takeaway direct to order a delivery for the first time from this establishment. The ordering experience was extremely friendly with person on the other end of the phone realising I was a new customer and asked me my name. I was then informed I would receive a complementary side dish which was nice. The food arrived within the time I had been advised and both my wife and I found all the food to be superb. Finally, to top it all off, the price was extremely good value.
